Iran's President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad calls for the creation of a new world order in dealing with the many challenges arising in the international political arena.

"What we need now is a dramatic change in world political thought," said President Ahmadinejad in a Tuesday address to the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) in Moscow.

"Western-style capitalism is falling apart, marking the end of the age of Imperialism," he added.

Ahmadinejad said the new world order should be less US-centric. "Washington's many political and economic woes show that its judgment can no longer be trusted," he explained.

Iran's Friday election saw Ahmadinejad win 24.5 million of the votes -- nearly 62 percent.

Ahmadinejad's main rival, Mir-Hossein Moussavi, came second with 13.2 million votes, followed by Mohsen Rezaei with more than 630 thousand votes and Mehdi Karroubi with 320 thousand votes.

Amadinejad is talking about new world order that is not pro-elitist but pro 'the people'. We cannot continue on in the current framework of society as we are today, don't you agree? It's funny how so many of these so called 'anti-NWO' people just state that a NWO is bad, but never implicitly state that the current way society operates is also bad. Are they saying it is good and shouldn't change?

If there is a mass change in how society functions(which is obviously needed) than that would be a 'new world order' by nature, but not a bad one that favors the elites and the rich, a good one that restores our freedoms and rights.

A very bended report by presstv.IR .... Ahmadinejad did not use the
words "New World Order". Ahmadinejad certainly did not declare or ask
for his version of a "New World Order". He only concluded that the "New
World Order" as declared by George Herbert Walker Bush is falling apart.
