QuoteThere have always been shady adventurers amongst the "men who make history". Yet, barely any of them wrought such a massive historical upheaval while sinking into oblivion as one Israil Lasarewitsch Helphand, who under the alias of "Alexander Parvus" helped to organize an epochal event in 1917: Lenin's Bolshevist October Revolution, a coup which installed socialism around half the world. Only seventy years later was it to collapse. The revolution was financed using German money, with the idea coming from Alexander Parvus. On January 7, 1915, he entered the Embassy of the German Reich in Constantinople. Born in Russia, he was no stranger in political circles. After studying economics, he advised the Turkish government, earned a reputation as a brilliant publicist and amassed a considerable fortune. Dr. Parvus had the aura of a shrewd political strategist. In conversations with the ambassador Baron Konrad von Wangenheim, he laid out a daring plan: to pay to have the revolution in Russia organized, the people stirred up and the czar brought down. Von Wangenheim was impressed and quickly sent a cable to the foreign ministry: "Please receive Dr. Parvus in Berlin." Just a few days later, Parvus managed to arouse the interest of state secretary Jagow in the plan to "prepare a mass political strike in Russia". No more than two months after Parvus had first presented his plan for a revolution in Russia, the Reich Treasury released a sum of two million marks "to support the revolutionary propaganda in Russia". Of this amount, a sum of one million was paid into accounts in Zurich, Copenhagen and Bucharest held by one Dr. Alexander Helphand – Parvus. The Reich strategists in Berlin hoped that the revolution would trigger the decisive breakthrough in the First World War. They saw it as a means of putting an end to the fighting on the Eastern front using non-military means. Their joint goal was to bring down the czar, yet their visions could have not been further apart. And in the midst of it all was the enigmatic Dr. Parvus, a wealthy war profiteer and socialist, who held close contacts with Rosa Luxemburg and Friedrich Ebert and had once languished in a St. Petersburg prison with Leo Trotsky and argued with Lenin on the right way to claim power. Thus it was that Lenin the revolutionary traveled in a German train bound for Russia in April 1917 with Parvus' help and very quickly worked "in full accord with his sponsors' wishes". The German Reich ultimately contributed 82 million gold marks to finance Parvus' project. The revolution was a success, the tsar abdicated and the German Reich made peace with the new powers. Yet, despite this success, the undertaking failed to produce the benefits hoped for. Lenin stayed in power, the Kaiser lost it. This lavishly produced SPIEGEL TV documentation illuminates an episode in world history which is barely known. It follows the Parvus plan from its origins to its execution - a historical thriller revolving around agents, revolutionaries and strategies. The original documents are stored in archives in Berlin, Moscow, London and Paris. Recorded using the latest camera technology (snorkel lens), they form the historical basis. Rare footage and photos are supplemented with spectacular reenactments of the events shot on location in Germany, Switzerland and Russia. Experts from Germany, Austria and Russia analyze Parvus' personality and activities. The key scenes in the life and works of Israil Lasarewitsch Helphand, such as the meetings in Constantinople and Berlin, are lavishly dramatized using actors. The documentary sheds light on a coup which changed the world against the backdrop of the October Revolution: The bought revolution, which was to usher in 70 years of communism.

Still another idiot Odessa, Bolshevik Jew that leaves death and destruction throughout Europe.  Great coverage of Parvus, I didn't pay much attention to him but this article shines the light.  The problem with the idiot Odessa Jews, even today, is that they hate the Goyim who do not follow their diktat.  Parvus is typical of the criminal lot them.

Thanks Savage.

After the Revolution of 1905, the Czar had prudently prepared for further outbreaks by transferring some $400 million in cash to the New York banks, Chase, National City, Guaranty Trust, J.P.Morgan Co., and Hanover Trust. In 1914, these same banks bought the controlling number of shares in the newly organized Federal Reserve Bank of New York, paying for the stock with the Czar\'s sequestered funds. In November 1917,  Red Guards drove a truck to the Imperial Bank and removed the Romanoff gold and jewels. The gold was later shipped directly to Kuhn, Loeb Co. in New York.-- Curse of Canaan
