No, you see people are to vote until they vote correctly and there after there will be no more votes.

From the first sentence in the article:

Quote"A CATTLEMAN has told a High Court judge he intends challenging the legality of the Government's new referendum on the Lisbon Treaty."

They could have called him anything but they called him a "cattleman".  Cattle-man, perhaps?

celticwarrior

yeah, and unfortunately the High Court has ruled that it is constitutional to hold the second referendum

Quote from: "celticwarrior"yeah, and unfortunately the High Court has ruled that it is constitutional to hold the second referendum
True. I didn't think that precedent came into play in constitutional cases, but that was the reason given for the judge's refusal to hear the case.
"The real menace of our Republic is the invisible government which like a giant octopus sprawls its slimy legs over our cities, states and nation. At the head is a small group of banking houses generally referred to as \'international bankers.\' This little coterie... run our government for their own selfish ends. It operates under cover of a self-created screen, seizes our executive officers, legislative bodies, schools, courts, newspapers and every agency created for the public protection."
John F. Hylan (1868-1936) - Former Mayor of New York City

to make a ruling that the identical question can be put before the people more than once makes a mockery of the whole principle of having a referendum or any free vote the result of which should be taken as the binding, irrevocable decision of the people; like hurensohn said, we are now in a parallel universe where no doesn't mean no and we are forced to rerun the vote until the result suits our masters
