The commander of the Israeli air force, Maj. Gen. Eliezer Shkedy, who was also interviewed by the CBS pointed to Iran's nuclear program and said that, "I think it is a very serious threat to the state of Israel,"

Israel which is the only possessor of nuclear arsenals bombed Iraq's Osirak nuclear facility in 1981.

In the upcoming interview, the Israeli veterans of that mission will elaborate on the differences between the attack on the Iraqi facility and any Israeli attack on Iranian facilities.

The Israelis hope they won't have to undertake such a mission today, the veterans say.
