Man arrested at Atlanta airport in stabbings spree

ATLANTA — A possible suspect in a string of 20 stabbings that terrorized people across three states and left five dead was arrested at an airport as he tried to board a plane for Israel, officials said Thursday.

The man was arrested late Wednesday and was being held on unrelated charges, police in Leesburg, Va., said.

He was arrested at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport where he was trying to board a Delta Air Lines flight to Tel Aviv, Israel, said Rafael Lemaitre, a spokesman at U.S. Customs and Border Protection.

The man has ties to Flint, Mich., where the attacks began May 24, and to Leesburg, the site of three similar attacks last week, Leesburg Police Officer Chris Jones said.

He is an Israeli citizen who is in the U.S. legally, according to a law enforcement official who spoke on the condition of anonymity due to the ongoing investigation.

"While this is a key step in the investigation there are still many issues that need to be addressed before we identify this individual as the person responsible for this horrific crime spree," Jones said.

Police had been focusing their hunt on Flint — where 16 of the stabbings took place — until Leesburg police reported three attacks. Authorities in Toledo, Ohio, say a stabbing in that city Saturday appears to be linked to the violent spree.

As of Wednesday afternoon, a task force led by the Michigan State Police and including the FBI had received 469 tips. Those tips have been passed out to the various law enforcement teams involved in the case.

The attacks began surfacing in late spring, and picked up the pace as the stabber traversed the country.

Police have said the man's attacks usually follow a pattern: He approaches black men late at night on lonely urban roads, and asks for directions or help with a broken-down car. Then, without warning, he pulls out a knife and strikes. Then, he speeds away in his vehicle, leaving them for dead.

The brazen nature and the frequency of the attacks — the assailant has struck an average of about once every four days since the first stabbing in May — has terrified some of those in cities he's already targeted.

The victims have been mostly black, and police have suspected the attacks may have been racially motivated. The youngest victim was 17; the oldest was 60. They ranged in size from 5-foot-4 inches and 120 pounds to 6-foot-1 and 190 pounds.

Okay stay with me on this.  A White looking Israeli citizen comes to the USA then stabs over 20 people all happen to be black. Now look at this scenario closely. White people murdering blacks in the riot season? Let's face it June through September is when most riots in the United States occur. So why is someone coming from a foreign country, flying from city to city murdering blacks while being a white man? Call me suspicious but he would have to have some serious financial backing or funds to fly around the country and or travel  with the high travel expenses IE: gasoline. So who is funding this creep? I smell the Israeli Mossad here folks. The only reason for this operation and the nature of several cities, with blacks as victims smells like some CIA or Mossad operation to start riots for the expressed reasons to declare Martial Law or cause total Civil war in the United States. We the people better wake up and realize we have many enemies, and this isn't some lone gunman B.S. because he had to have cooperation and finances from another source unless you are silly enough to think a wealthy millionaire would travel to the USA and murder blacks for sport?

The whole story makes no sense, short of a reason to create civil unrest in the United States. We already know that this man has ties to and both Flint Michigan and Leesburg Virginia, which isn't far from all the C.I.A. offices in Langly, Willaimsburg, Camp Perry and a host of other C.I.A. locations and facilities. The cities he has done the stabbings in (allegedly) are Flint Michigan and Toledo Ohio which not only have predominately black populations, but also have very high racial tensions. Are you smelling a rat yet?

The only cable network covering this story is CNN. Yesterday afternoon they covered the Israeli passport/Israeli citizen angle, last night they had two separate shows where the first (early evening) had an FBI VIP discussing Serial Killers and a Psychologist woman discussing the mind of a Serial Killer.  The second CNN show( Late evening) was a lone Psychologist entirely focused on the Serial Killer angle.

It was also stressed in the late evening discussion with Anderson Cooper (Vanderbilt heir) that not All the victims were Black (2 were white) and that it appeared that this Serial Killer was not racially motivated.

The talking points are now complete.  Serial Killer with totally random victims who attempted to board a plane bound for Tel Aviv.  He was most likely angry about his low financial position (clerk at convenience store) and jealous of those who he 'served' all day.

I couldn't find any other coverage, although there may have been, other than a couple of sound bites on other networks.

Seems a poorly run operation although with the media control that's never been a problem for them.  Too much publicity for it to have been anything but a rouge notion or natural psychotic tendencies bursting forth, in my opinion.  If it were a high-level job, he would've gotten or or there would have been zero national coverage of the arrest.  Instead it's on Yahoo.   No doubts race problems are something they'll exploit having created the demographic situation to begin with.

I think that the usage of "serial" attacks and murders would be (unfortunately) an ideal terror tactic for a large, diverse--but highly polarized demographic such as the present  U.S.A. Especially just prior to a barometer election period with emphasis on distraction social issues.

A problem with this type of disguised terrorism--is that by its  drawn-out serial nature--it attracts public attention, focus and motivation for perpetrator apprehension (including the compartmentalized enforcement rank-and-file). It's also a compelling morbid mainstream media focus--increasing widespread focus and reaction.

Another related problem is that this type of serial covert terrorism requires well-executed exit strategies. Unfortunately for the perpetrator--the increasing public focus makes hiding the tell-tale crime trail and exit execution progressively complicated (imo),

Can you cite sources? I haven't heard of this yet. It's well known that the CIA, and thus by default, the Mossad, use psych wards for projects. This was done through the 60-70's and no doubt continues, just with out our knowledge. Agreed, with the ashkenazi looks. He definitely doesn't have the face of any arab I've seen. He's got a german facial structure if ever I've seen one, which makes me think he's got german ancestry (obviously jewish). I hadn't heard that he worked in florida either. That is the crucial aspect of determining if some thing was initially planned as a psy-op, or turned into a psy-op of convenience.
