In Germany a guy got so mad about how his country is sliding into severe trouble
that he wrote a book :

Deutschland schafft sich ab: Wie wir unser Land aufs Spiel setzen
by Thilo Sarrazin

Gebundene Ausgabe: 464 Seiten
Verlag: Deutsche Verlags-Anstalt (30. August 2010)
Sprache: Deutsch
ISBN-10: 3421044309
ISBN-13: 978-3421044303
http://www.amazon.de/Deutschland-schaff ... 421044309/

Inside the book he questions several issues which are systematicly left untouched by the
acting Merkel Administration. He also makes remarks about how Jews and Basks
share a common gene, which however created severe troubles for him, that he might
loose his job as Chairman of the German Central Bank (BundesBank) :

Stupid comments do not exist, only media analysts who are paid off to keep the criminals in power.

that makes sense. the people creating all this trouble, the 'bask separatists'.

The book title means 'Germany abolishes itself'

abschaffen http://www.dict.cc/?s=abschaffen

Makes more sense, because it's a corporation; you dissolve it and replace it with the EU.

Of course the politicians are aware for a long time it is a de facto entity. The substantive aspect of germany goes away with the mass immigration and emigration. Maybe this is what he is writing about?

blogs in german newspapers and tabloids are frequently found discussing the Sarrazin "issue".
Here's an example where the editor is actively pushing the BundesBank for
Sarrazin's dismissal :

Frankfurter Rundschau › Politik › Meinung
Kommentar
Peinliche Bundesbank
http://www.fr-online.de/politik/meinung ... index.html
QuotePainful Bundesbank

The BundesBank acted inconsequent, by wanting to look only for the
discussion with Thilo Sarrazin, instead of dismissing him immediately.

The BundesBank is an institution, where discrimination has no place
", determines the BundesBank executive committee. And whats with
Thilo Sarrazin, who expressed himself discriminating, which his
executive committee colleagues likewise determine? There still seems
to be a place within the BundesBank for him. The statement of the
BundesBank is embarrassing painful .

After the recent gene expressions by Sarrazin, results only
a consistent resolution: Raus with the arsonist, in order to repeal
further damage of the BundesBank and the country. Even if the
independence of the issuing bank makes the dismissal difficult and
expensive, the damage, which the institution suffers by the habitation
of the troublemaker, is always larger.

Why did the BundesBank decide in such a delaying manner and first only
wants to look for the discussion with Sarrazin and then subsequently
seeks further advise? Because it believes to be able to prove thereby
their independence from politics? That would be a deplorable picture,
in a situation, which requires clear signals. Or does someone
sympathize in the executive committee secretly with Sarrazin?

So-far did the Chairman of the German Central Bank (BundesBank) not
utter discriminating remarks, as discrimination, most urgent, should
never be misinterpreted with the right to express your own opinion.
Mister Sarrazin until now has sent no-one to the Gulags. Compare this
with numerous people who through economic problems loose their house
and become homeless. The latter however can indeed be written down on
the records of the acting Administration of Angela Merkel.

The remark about genes and sort alike, don't fit within the discussion
about the real problems, which Thilo Sarrazin most appropriate has put
forward : the education of children and youths, which leaves most if
not all to wish for. The dumbing down of the population, through all
kinds of methods : pre-emtive exclude important information and data
from publications (Censorship?). The thoughtless subscription of
medicines like for instance Ritalin, where the demand for real healthy
nutrition never can be found back within the same publication.

Leaves us with the remarks about immigration of Islamic oriented people
into the German Republic. This is a European problem.

Until yesterday i never had any personal problems with people who have
Islam as their religion. But there's indeed intermitting showings that
members from this community do exist, here, born in the Netherlands
from Moroccan parents, who in their behavior continually are heading
for Collision Course with society. A behavior which has nothing to-do
with the teachings of Islam nor Koran. In such cases one can only react
with firm measures.

without reading it they all suck cock. look at what Michael James wrote about them, the 'newspaper reporters'.
They call the BRD corporate censorship bureau even before getting it up to the editor level. So you know the editors must be big time limp-wristed types.

No, wait... I should let you know how I really feel.

Brief bout with intoxication combined with TIU use... not my usual style.    :D:D

Read the full article today. Can't say it changes my opinion.. too much.

Let's see what we can do as the common people to set a good example. In a way the people have received the (public) trustees they deserve. And when I look and smell the number of remaining zombies, it's no wonder.

Would you fill us in more about what you know about this central banker's anti-islam campaign, superzebra?
This man is playing both sides?

Central bank executive Thilo Sarrazin spreads anti-Muslim messages on every stage, but only when he speaks against Jews does political establishment unite against him. His book launch met with protest, which Sarrazin calls 'opportunistic attack'

Assaf Oni Published:  08.30.10, 17:35 / Israel News

BERLIN – It has been more than a week since Thilo Sarrazin – an executive in Germany's central bank, a senior member of the Social Democratic Party, and a political provocateur – has been spreading racist remarks against the Muslim minority in Germany. He did so on every media platform provided him in order to promote his new book "Deutschland schafft sich ab" (Germany is doing away with itself) that was released on Monday.

Popular German tabloid Bild published selections from the book in recent weeks. In interviews held with Sarazzin in more quality newspapers n Germany, the banker came out against Islam in general and claimed that German intelligence is declining as a result of immigration. He backed up his assertions with pseudo-scientific statistics on fertility, intelligence, and labor. All of this went without any major comment.
However, when he claimed in an interview on Sunday that Jews carry a "particular gene" that sets them apart from all other nations, the German political establishment spoke up.

Chancellor Angela Merkel called for him to be ousted from the Bundesbank, Germany's central bank, and promised that a discussion would be held with the heads of the financial institution. Merkels called the statements "unacceptable" and said, "These are comments that only damage and don't help integration in this country, which is a national duty."

Joining Merkel in her denunciation of Sarrazin's statement, Foreign Minister Guido Westerwelle said Sarrazin "crossed the line." A long list of Christian Democratic Union party members also joined in the condemnation.

Sarrazin's own party, SPD, also did not spare him harsh criticism. The party headquarters in Berline announced on Monday that it will launch an official procedure to sack him from the party.

Sarrazin: What's the fuss about?

The official launch event for Sarrazin's book was held on Monday in Berlin. During the event, Sarrazin said that he was shocked by what he called "the opportunistic attack" against him. The senior politician reiterated his claims that he is not racist, but rather "a numbers man" who isn't afraid to reveal the truth even it is inconvenient for the listener.

In defense of his hotly contested statement, Sarazzin referenced research published in scientific magazines that "reveal the genetic basis shared by European Jews." Regarding the comment itself, he asserted, "It wasn't said in positively or negatively."
A few hundred protesters met Sarrazin at the entrance to the event hall. They made calls "to fight racism" and "to oust Sarazzin from the Bundesbank leadership." The protesters also played Turkish music at a high volume, but it couldn't be heard from within the event hall where the press conference was held.

Hundreds of journalists crowded into the hall in anticipation for Sarrazin's arrival, which was accompanied by the mad flash of cameras usually reserved for non-political celebrities.

A significant part of the press conference focused on Sarazzin's future. On the backdrop of assessments that his party is about to remove him from its ranks, he said, "I will always remain a member of the people's party."

Regarding reports that Bundestag President Axel Weber is slated to issue a statement on Monday regarding Sarrazin, the latter said, "I don't see any reason to leave the bank's executive."
For many Germans, the problem is not with the subject matter of Sarrazin's statements – the increase of immigrants in Germany, especially Muslims – but the way in which he expresses them in his book. Sarrazin speaks of a "German national identity" and an "inborn intelligence." He also uses statistical tools to prove that immigrants are multiplying at a faster rate than native Germans. He claims that is definitive proof of the threat to the "national identity" and "the level intelligence."

This type of discourse reminds Germans of Nazi anti-Semitism, which also relied heavily on dubious scientific tools to prove its claims. In the media flurry that has been sparked as a result, debate of the actual content of his statements has been lost.

QuoteSupport for Sarrazin puts politicians in spin

Published: 5 Sep 10 12:13 CET

Nearly a fifth of Germans would vote for a political protest party headed by Thilo Sarrazin, a poll revealed on Sunday, as mainstream politicians argue about how best to react to his statements on Muslims, immigration and Jews.

The survey, conducted by Emnid pollsters for the Bild am Sonntag newspaper, showed that 18 percent of Germans would vote for a political party headed by the Bundesbank board member.

He has created a furore in Germany with assertions about Muslim immigrants to Germany failing to integrate, and what he insists is a genetic element to intelligence – and the astounding proposal that people of a common religion are genetically related.

His theory is that genetically stupid immigrants are making Germany increasingly stupid as they are multiplying faster than Germans – and refusing to integrate into German society.

These kind of ideas seem to be welcomed by many conservative voters, with 17 percent of Christian Democrat Union (CDU) or Christian Social Union (CSU) voters telling pollsters they would vote for him if he were to establish a political party.

He appears to be even more popular among left-wing Die Linke supporters, with 29 percent saying they would vote for him.

The Social Democratic Party (SPD) is trying to throw Sarrazin out, although he says he loves the party and intends to remain a member. Yet its efforts to get rid of him are only damaging its image, according to Manfred Güllner, head of another pollster firm, Forsa.

He said the focus on Sarrazin – who used to be state finance senator for Berlin – could cost the SPD dear in next year's Berlin state election.

"The SPD is spending so much energy on the exclusion of Sarrazin, but not on the concerns, fears and needs of the Berliners," Güllner told the Berlin Kurier paper on Sunday.

He said Berlin mayor Klaus Wowereit looks particularly bad for his attacks on Sarrazin, having worked with him in the capital's government. "He supported him for years and used his abilities. Now he is damning him. It is not believable."

Leading conservative politicians this weekend called for a more open discussion of integration policy, with some criticising Chancellor Angela Merkel for her dismissive attitude towards Sarrazin's comments.

She described them as 'completely unacceptable' and has added to pressure for him to be dismissed from his post at the Bundesbank.

Yet Bavaria state interior minister Joachim Herrmann of the CSU said, "It would be wrong to now damn everything that Sarrazin says."

Some of Sarrazin's theories were awful, he said, but added, "But where there are problems, we clearly have to address them."

Head of the CDU's Baden-Württemberg state parliamentary party, Peter Hauk, also said that many Union supporters very much agreed with what Sarrazin had been saying. It would not be acceptable to simply criticise him, said Hauk. Instead the Berlin CDU leadership should more clearly identify problems with immigration and take tougher action on integration policies, he said.

Even Defence Minister Karl-Theodor zu Guttenberg, from the CSU, called for an intensive investigation of Sarrazin's theories. An open, broad discussion was needed, he said, adding that the issues that Sarrazin had described were important to people in Germany.

The Bundesbank has armed itself with legal opinion in its preparation to try to remove Sarrazin from the board. According to Der Spiegel magazine this weekend, it has a 20-page report on Sarrazin's public comments since he took office in 2009.

His interviews and the reaction to them during the last year or so will be used to show he has broken his employment contract, which stipulates that he must remain moderate and reserved in relation to the public in order to preserve the dignity of the job.

Federal President Christian Wulff is considering the Bundesbank's request for him to dismiss Sarrazin – something he has already signalled his willingness to do.

Yet Sarrazin has already taken the initiative in this matter, calling for a personal audience with the president.

"The federal president will have to consider very carefully, whether he wants to carry out a kind of political show trial, which would later be quashed by the courts," he said in Focus magazine.

It was also reported this weekend that Sarrazin had informed his colleagues on the Bundesbank board in writing last month that he was about to publish his controversial book Deutschland schafft sich ab - Wie wir unser Land aufs Spiel setzen, or "Abolishing Germany - How we're putting our country at jeopardy."

The report in the Bild am Sonntag newspaper said that neither Bundesbank president Axel Weber nor other board members reacted to the letter, or found out about the content of the book.
