When I was in my ealy 20's I had a friend that had paranoid delusional disorder. The night before we got into an argument and he thought I was "turning on him". He broke into my apartment(not really, the door was open) and tried to attack me with a baseball bat while I was laying on the couch watching TV. My roommate tackled him and I got the bat out of his hands....scary shit.

Did he he have a knife? Gun?

This is the wildest thing I have heard in some time. I'm sure you weren't expecting this from your "buddy".

Is this event going to be a he said she said scenario and is there some sort of physical injury involved?

This situation, should it result in damaging the overall message, is a damned shame IMO.

If confirmed, then I would hope it's as innocent as the effect of some new medication he's on. (A friend of mine once went batshit crazy - smashed a car and assaulted a random passerby. Shockingly out of character. Turned out it was the effect of some sleeping pills in combination with an anti-depressant.)

I had that same trouble also. And only today was I finally able to get in here, after I seen this potentially epic (for the wrong reasons) thread.

Ive heard Og in various interviews and I don't think he really uses slang words...I really can't picture him using the slang word "pad"...but who knows...just a thought.

Yeah, DBS was on painkillers(percocet?vicadin?). He stated this in his last show. Could be messing with this head. I'm pretty sure I know what he was angry about but I don't want to assume anything(hint:"Hitler was a zionist tool", Carolyn Yeager). If DBS was drinking and taking painkillers...it could have thrown him over the edge and caused him to do something he would never do if he was sober.

If he drove/took a train to Switzerland from France and attacked Ognir for this, it clearly shows some kind of drug induced uncontrollable rage. If he was over Og's on a friendly visit and an argument escalated to violence...then it's a little more "normal" I guess... but still f*cked up.

well Og is claiming here that this is attempted "murder" not just a little fist-fight or scuffle. There must have been some sort of deadly weapon to be involved in order for Og to make this kind of claim, if this is indeed Og who posted this thread.

Yeah, I would assume that is what he means. I was addressing Wimpy's post about the possibility of a scuffle escalating into DBS flying off the handle and using a weapon or trying to strangle him to death...but that would fall more into the voluntary manslaughter department...not attempted murder.

If this thread was started by the real Ognir then I would assume that DBS drove over to his house uninvited with the intent on killing Ognir with some kind of weapon.

Much agreed there Whaler and SAI2... it is sad to hear about this. If he was in severe nerve pain due to an infection, it can literally drive people to do bizarre ...abnormal things. Add in a few painkillers and it can become a dangerous mix.

I searched the internet for news/police reports in Geneva Switzerland. Unfortunately I don't speak French so it was a little hard to navigate and find info.

I also checked to see if there were any Europol wanted alerts for DBS...I haven't found anything but it just happened so maybe tomorrow there will be news.

Does anybody have contact with Rafeeq? I agree that the original post didn't sound exactly like Og and I doubt that he would post so little given the importance. I could be wrong, but I think Og would provide more details. He and Daryl both know the stakes. And both would be wise to the problem of such a brief, electric, and minimal message.

Smells to me like a setup of some sort.
