Reason exists to get on certain mailing lists, where good faith is not presumed.  One such case is Sorcha Fall, who is an apparent "White Hat" intelligence front, allegedly for this David Booth guy.  All of their news is an assembly of apparent facts, analyzed and interpreted through a pathological distortion claiming to represent Moscow.  In any event, there are nonetheless reasons, like being alerted to what is happening and then being informed of its possible dimensions.

Such is the case with an article today covering the suspicious cop-related death of former Marine infantry-turned UFO/2012 disclosure whistleblower and pacifist, Drew Ryan Maras, in what looks either like a motiveless murder-suicide, or maybe a professional hit gone wrong.  The motive here is that Ryan claimed on his website that his book:

QuoteOpen Your Eyes will literally do just that—open your eyes—and release you from your programmed mind in order to shed light and truth on controversial subjects bound together by fate, not coincidence. Part self-help, part current affairs, this book provides an investigation of a myriad correlating prophesies and events that synergistically corroborate one another. Each piece of the End of Days puzzle comes into view by the book's end to reveal a crystal clear picture of what is about to occur with our fragile world. This complete picture will manifest an epiphany within you. Many topics discussed here have remained undisclosed to the public, are sensitive and not publicly indoctrinated

QuoteMystery surrounds Sedona, Anthem shooting deaths
Man killed by deputies is tied to 2 murders

The final, violent days of Drew Ryan Maras' life left four dead bodies in Arizona, including his own, and a host of questions that likely will never be answered.

"I don't know if we'll ever know the motive," Yavapai County Sheriff Scott Mascher said at a news conference Tuesday announcing that tests connected the weapon Maras used to kill Maricopa County Sheriff's Deputy William Coleman with the weapon used to kill a New Hampshire couple outside Sedona last week.

"It wasn't provoked," Mascher said of the murders of James Johnson and Carol Raynsford, both 63, on a scenic turnout near Sedona. "I don't think we'll ever know. It was a very senseless, horrific thing."

Two days after the Sedona shootings, Maras, 30, shot at the first law-enforcement officers he encountered. They had been called to Anthem for an unrelated burglary alarm.

While the motive for the Sedona murders may never be known, Maras' purpose in shooting at the sheriff's deputies is unmistakable, said Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio.

"When someone comes out firing you have to feel that they have something to hide. He sure did have something to hide," Arpaio said. "He saw a law-enforcement officer ready to check him out -- if they could connect him with that shooting two days earlier, that's probably why he came out firing."

Investigators have spent the past several days confirming their suspicions that Maras was involved in both the Sedona murders and the shootout with Coleman, and piecing together Maras' life.

A Maricopa County sheriff's detective who spoke with Maras' father in Illinois said the father described his son as a loner who supported himself through royalties from his book sales with financial help from his family. Maras and his father spoke infrequently during the past several years, but were not estranged, according to the Sheriff's Office.

But Maras sent his father an e-mail on Friday, hours after Johnson's and Raynsford's bodies were discovered in Sedona. Maras told his father he was pleased people were paying attention to a book Maras wrote about the world ending this year, according to the Sheriff's Office.

The next confirmed sighting of Maras was early Sunday morning when sheriff's deputies, including Coleman, responded to a burglar alarm at an Anthem medical facility and noticed a van in the parking lot.

Detectives later learned Maras had spent the past several weeks with his dog, sleeping on a mattress in the van Maras' father owned.

When Coleman knocked on the van's driver's side window with his flashlight, Maras fired his rifle from within, squeezing off 29 rounds of military-grade ammunition and striking Coleman in the arm and abdomen. Two sheriff's deputies returned fire more than 40 times, killing Maras. Coleman was later pronounced dead at John C. Lincoln North Mountain Hospital.

The cartridges left behind in the Anthem parking lot helped detectives in two counties solve the murders but have done nothing to quell the mystery surrounding the shootings.

Drew Maras' last interview:

Sorcha Fall's article:

http://www.whatdoesitmean.com/index1553.htm

Raises some significant questions:

 1.  Nobody seems to have witnessed Maras kill the couple from New Hampshire, although eyewitnesses confirm that he met them at his book signing and they were, "very interested" in what he had written.  Police labs confirming that the same weapon was used in both shootings doesn't mean anything to me, really.  Maybe a coverup, all circumstantial etc.

2.  Maricopa County Sheriff's Deputy William Coleman, 50, was reported shot and killed by Maras while answering a burglary call at a medical building in Anthem, Arizona.  Why was he burgling a medical building?  Fall suggests that most likely he was shot in the hit that claimed the other two lives and needed medical supplies urgently.

Whatever the final outcome of the investigation, the spin machine has already tried Maras and found him guilty of the motiveless double murder of some of his actual supporters, allegedly because he was a crazy PTSD nutjob, and a cop killer to boot.

The whole thing reeks, but make sure you check out his material before it, too, disappears.

Conflicting accounts of the fatal shootout that claimed the lives of Deputy Coleman and Drew Maras cast doubt on the veracity of the official story:

http://www.azcentral.com/news/articles/ ... maras.html

QuoteWhen Coleman knocked on the van's driver's side window with his flashlight, Maras fired his rifle from within, squeezing off 29 rounds of military-grade ammunition and striking Coleman in the arm and abdomen. Two sheriff's deputies returned fire more than 40 times, killing Maras. Coleman was later pronounced dead at John C. Lincoln North Mountain Hospital.

QuoteColeman knocked on Maras' van to rouse him. Maras responded by opening the vehicle's sliding door and firing 29 shots, authorities said. Other deputies got off 41 rounds and killed Maras.

QuoteWhen Coleman and the other deputies approached a van in the parking lot, the suspect -- now identified as Maras -- was seen sleeping in the passenger seat. When deputies tapped on the window, Maras started shooting, killing Coleman, a 20-year veteran with the MCSO and father of two young children.

Maras was then fatally shot by other deputies

QuoteWhen deputies arrived behind the CVS shopping center at the northwest corner of Anthem Way and Galvin Parkway, Coleman tapped on the window of a minivan parked outside the Anthem Medical Plaza, where Drew Ryan Maras, 30, emerged from under a blanket and began shooting at him with a semiautomatic rifle.

How does he at once fire from the front passenger seat when roused from sleeping, and at the same time open the sliding side door before shooting?

Another set of questions surrounds the attack that left James Johnson, 63, from Jaffrey, New Hampshire, and Carol Raynsford, 63, from Nelson, New Hampshire dead on a remote turnout by the side of the road, pictured below:

According to the report they were shot with the same type of 5.56 NATO ammunition as used in Maras AR-15.  But look at the details of the suspected shooters getaway vehicle as described by eyewitnesses:

QuoteFurther details regarding the possible suspect truck:

1998 TO 2002 WHITE DODGE OR CHEVY 1/2 TON TRUCK
OLDER WHITE CAMPER SHELL AND FADED WHITE PAINT
HAS RED RIBBONS HANGING FROM REAR VIEW MIRROR

How does this resemble a minivan seen 85 miles away?

Some more information which informs us to take a skeptical view of the official story here:

http://m.redrocknews.com/News/two-murde ... edona.html

QuoteIn Maricopa County, Maras is reported to have exited a minivan, while detectives in Yavapai County sought a white pickup truck with a camper shell on the back, D'Evelyn said.

"They do not match up. The vehicle information came from numerous phone calls indicating that a white or gray pickup truck was parked where the Subaru was parked in that little turnout on 89A. There were concerns from people driving by that they thought that vehicle might be connected to the homicides," D'Eveyln said...

Quote#1 Arthur Godfrey 2012-01-13 19:23
What's very disturbing? For the first 2 hours of this case, YCSO detectives thought this was a double suicide! Despite mulitpile bullet casings found on the scene! (hard to shoot yourself multiple times) when fatal

http://www.azfamily.com/video/yahoo-vid ... 58003.html

QuoteThe victims are a man and a woman, according to Sheriff's Spokesman Dwight DEvelyn (center). "Based on gunfire rounds found and other items, we believe that one or more suspects shot the victims from outside the vehicle," he said...

D'Evelyn said several callers reported seeing a pickup truck in the immediate area prior to the homicides being discovered. It was described as a 1998 to 2002 Dodge or Chevy 1/2-ton truck with an older white camper shell and faded white paint. It had red ribbons hanging from the rear-view mirror. He said the occupants are likely armed and dangerous.

D'Evelyn said this does not preclude other vehicles that might be involved in this incident. The sheriff's office asks everyone to continue to report suspect and suspect vehicle information if known.

http://verdenews.com/main.asp?SectionID ... leID=45599

QuoteJames Johnson, 63, from Jaffrey, N.H., and Carol Raynsford, 63, from Nelson, N.H., had been visiting the Winslow, Flagstaff and Sedona area and pulled into the scenic viewpoint seven miles south of Sedona Thursday night, according to D'Evelyn. Johnson was working on a computer and Raynsford was reading when they were shot and killed.

D'Evelyn says the agency now believes they were actually shot and killed Thursday evening but not found until the following morning.

The bodies of the New Hampshire couple were found at 11:30 a.m. Friday by members of an off-road vehicle club. They had used the viewpoint as a meeting place. Members thought it was suspicious that the motor was running on the red late model Subaru station wagon and went to check...

The sheriff's spokesman says an older model pickup with a camper shell the Sheriff's office had sought based on a tip was located. The driver had stopped at the view point but was not involved in the killings...

Quote"Sheriff Mascher sincerely appreciates the large volume of calls received from members of the public who supplied leads to investigators following the discovery of the victim's bodies on the morning of Jan. 6, 2012. Investigators did locate the white truck originally broadcast as a possible suspect vehicle. The vehicle owner had been present in the area but was cleared of any involvement."

Well, there you have it.  He was "cleared," instantly, however that happens when you are the prime suspect in a double-homicide.  Perhaps he had a "clearance".

It doesn't describe how or on what evidence the prime suspect was "cleared", or how that it is more likely that Maras was the killer.

Furthermore, in a normal investigation the identity of the person "cleared" would be released publicly as part of the proof that the police indeed did their job.

Instead the prime suspect remains anonymous and is apparently able to say "yeah, I was actually there at the crime scene but I'm not involved, because I wasn't."

Additionally, the language around the ballistics report is neural-linguistically leading, but factually inconclusive:

QuoteMaricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio and Yavapai County Sheriff Scott Masher held a joint news conference in Phoenix to confirm that the same green-tipped military ammunition was found at both shootings with the same forensic signatures.

"We have two murders within days of each other - within relatively close proximity to one another and both involving a high powered rifle," Arpaio said. "We believed from the outset, these killings were somehow likely connected."

At no point is it ascertained whether casings similar to those found at the scene of Maras' shootout were in fact exactly the same or just similar, and it is not explained what other shell casings were discovered at the Sedona double-murder scene, leading the police to initially seek multiple persons in the slaying.

Essentially, anyone shooting an AR-15 variant loaded with green-tip AP will leave practically identical shell casings behind.  It is more a smear than a forensic conclusion which appears to link the casings to Maras.  And again, MOTIVE?  Maras is supposed to have kicked off his bookselling tour by killing his few supporters?  This doesn't sound like a guy with an honorable discharge, a university education, a new book to sell and over 4,000 Facebook friends, does it?

We were told in the Sorcha Fall article that the couple slain in the Sedona turnout has met Maras at a book signing shortly before they died.  Had they speculatively purchased a few boxes of Maras' books, and were these book the reason for their execution?  Were they removed from their possession by the person or people who killed them?  Are physical copies of this book forthcoming to those who still order them?

Michael K.

Here's the shootout scene, between Maras and three sheriff's deputies, perhaps as members of a SWAT squad, not regular patrolmen.  Notice the SWAT armored vehicle.  Was this there at the time of the shooting?

Here's how it looks to me, a hypothetical scenario:

Maras met the nice hippie shaman couple from New Hampshire at his initial book signing.  Since she ran a store on main street, she was in the Sedona area to do some trading for new age stuff to sell there.  Maras' book was not only bound to sell out, but perhaps meeting him to do this deal was a pre-ordained part of the shamanic quest they were on?  It seemed like fate and it was morally compelling, so being brave she decided to invest as heavily as she could afford in Maras by buying him out of whatever stock he had on hand.  He would get some more printed.

He tells them that he has to go to his storage unit and pick up the boxes and he'll meet them at the rest stop where they can talk some more in private and exchange the goods and money.  They are being watched, their cell phone calls monitored.  The hitter(s) know where they are going and pull up next to them, get out and attack from surprise.  The first shot comes as an absolute surprise.  The man is dead and the woman in shock, then she is shot dead.

Maras does not die as quickly because he is a Marine, hits the ground, rolls to cover and returns fire.  But he gets shot, he is seriously wounded.  The hitter(s) flee the scene as soon as they encounter return fire, leaving the official authorities no choice but to be the ones to confront-with-intent-to-terminate the now injured and fleeing Maras.

At the parking lot, Maras realized the kill team has just arrived and waits under a blanket locked and loaded.  The unlucky (or Masonically inferior) Coleman gets to be on point, but Maras only gets two shots into him as the other two sheriff's deputies pull open the sliding side door and light Maras up from the back.  Maras dies exiting the passenger's door shooting at Coleman and then at the other two coming in the back, to cover his escape, but he was hit multiple times and died.

Avocadess

This goes at or near the top of the list of one of the most suspiciously skewed stories I have ever seen. I just don't believe it!  I suspect that he was onto something that he had not yet printed -- thus they -- whoever "they" are -- were in a hurry to both kill him and make him look like a crazy person.

Years ago (decades ago, actually) I worked for the man who wrote the book "Treason: The New World Order" (he went by the name Gurudas though his actual name was Allen Bernstein). He was just about to print a follow-up to that book when he was found dead -- "apparent" suicide -- in his home. No one who knew him believed for a minute that he ever even owned a gun. He only had ONE copy of the book he was about to print because of problems in the past where his work was stolen by others and he was paranoid about other people stealing his work. That was very unfortunate. The only copy of the book was on his home computer, and when the body was found the computer was MISSING from his home. Coincidence? I think not! Even weirder -- a couple weeks later the computer re-appeared in his home -- but the book had been erased from it!!

Michael K.

Dear Avocadess (I'm sinseng California, here ;) ),

I remember Gurudas' books.  Adventures Unlimited carried that one you mentioned, as did New Leaf.

Maybe you missed this one, it's equally unbelievable in its own right.  Excuse the antisemitic rhetoric since you say that you are sensitive, it's humor...
