This is going to be a rather open ended thread: We understand how advertising works, as a subliminal and 'not so subliminal' type of 'hypnotic suggestion'...You hear or watch a certain commercial enough, especially if it has a catchy 'hook' to it, and you may be predisposed to buy a certain product or 'lifestyle', or accept a certain POV.

I am going to post a batch of different commercials; mostly ones that I hear on the radio, because I don't watch much television actively...So mostly ones that I hear on commercial radio, day and night...When looking up the commercials on YouTube, I found that adding the visual to what I hear on the radio can give the commercial another dimension, making it slightly bearable, because hearing repetitive 30-40 second clips on the radio constantly can be likened to a form of torture...Occasionally, a commercial will have a pleasant quality.

As I care for an elderly relative for whom TV is a diversion, I view many commercials designed to attract attention and business from 'shut ins', a particularly noxious form of mind control.

Please feel free to add 'your favorites'.

Here's the first, which plays about 3 times an hour on commercial talk or sports talk radio, every hour, 24/7...This one features a 'stand up comedian' who features on late night talk shows.

Safe Auto Insurance Commercial: 'You Can Fake Anything'

PNC Bank Commercials: #1 has a 'gentle melody to ease your mind': #2, a more direct mid control use of imagery/suggestion i.e. swiping bank card repeatedly...

This next commercial bothered me for a year, because I heard it constantly, and all I could remember was the little melody 'green, green, green...'...Just bothered me...Then, one day I listened more actively and heard 'radon testing'...Hmm...So I looked it up, and found the full video, which actually is rather charming...It is put out by the EPA, public service...It uses children, but in a fairly benign way: I will get to the use of children in commercials later.

These 'E Trade' commercials are particularly noxious: We have babies trading stocks before they learn to use the potty chair...Notice the voice dubbed in: Smirking yuppie or Jewish type.

Compilation: Note use of mocking 'hip Black jargon'

Underlying message: 'One of our babies could fleece your goy ass.'

Her's one for Generation Z that plays in my city at least 50 times a day on various stations..It's for Kia Autos and the 'Hi Definition' radio that the industry is trying to shove down consumer's throats...It's just an audio file:
