  "The leader of a white supremacist group that has been linked to Dylann
   Roof, the suspect in the murder of nine African-Americans in a
   Charleston, S.C., church last week, has donated tens of thousands of
   dollars to Republican campaigns, including those of 2016 presidential
   contenders such as Ted Cruz, Rick Santorum and Rand Paul, records show.

   Mr. Cruz, a Texas senator, said Sunday night that he would be returning
   about $8,500 in donations that he had received from the Texas donor,
   Earl Holt III, who lists himself as president of the Council of
   Conservative Citizens.

   "We just learned this evening that Mr. Holt had contributed to the
   campaign," a spokesman for the Cruz campaign said in an email to The
   New York Times. "We will be immediately refunding all those donations."

   The Guardian first reported on Mr. Holt's donations to the Republican
   contenders.

   A manifesto that appeared on a website registered to Mr. Roof said that
   the manifesto's author had first learned of "brutal black-on-white
   murders" from the Council of Conservative Citizens' website.

   Mr. Holt, in a statement posted online in his name, said he was not
   surprised to learn that Mr. Roof had found out about "black-on-white
   violent crime" from his group because, he said, it was one of the few
   that had the courage to disclose "the seemingly endless incidents
   involving black-on-white murder." But he said his group does not
   advocate violence and should not be held responsible for the shootings.

   The group is regarded by the Southern Poverty Law Center, a leading
   authority on hate crimes, as a white supremacist extremist organization
   that opposes "race mixing" as a religious affront and that vilifies
   blacks as an inferior race.

   Spokesmen for Mr. Santorum, a former Pennsylvania senator, and Mr.
   Paul, a senator from Kentucky, did not respond to requests for comment
   on the donations.

   Mr. Holt, who identified himself in some donation records as a Texas
   "slumlord," has also given money to a number of other current and
   former Republican members of Congress, including Senator Jeff Flake of
   Arizona, Senator Rob Portman of Ohio, former Representative Michele
   Bachmann of Minnesota, Representative Steve King of Iowa, and former
   Representative Todd Akin of Missouri.

  "For more than 60 years, two stained glass windows at the Washington
   National Cathedral in Washington, D.C. have displayed the image of the
   Confederate flag. Now, the churches dean is advocating to have the
   windows removed.
   
   The windows -- showing Confederate generals Robert E. Lee and Stonewall
   Jackson -- were installed in 1953.
   
   According to the dean of the Cathedral, Rev. Gary Hall, the churches
   leadership in the 1950s thought the windows "would foster
   reconciliation between parts of the nation that had been divided by the
   Civil War," he said in a statement.

   The windows are among the more than 200 in the church, according to

   But last week -- after nine people were killed inside an African
   Methodist Episcopal church by a suspect who is believed to have posted
   a racist manifesto online -- Hall started to get questions about the
   windows and took a closer look, Eckstrom told ABC News today.

   "Stained glass windows exist to tell a story," Eckstrom said. They are
   "intended to let the light of God into the assembled worshipers. And
   right now, with these windows, that light is being filtered through a
   symbol that we all know is associated with racial supremacy, violence
   and racism. And the dean doesn't feel like at this point ... that those
   windows should continue to be a part of the Cathedral's life."

   Hall's statement Thursday said: "While the impetus behind the windows'
   installation was a good and noble one at the time, the Cathedral has
   changed, and so has the America it seeks to represent. There is no
   place for the Confederate battle flag in the iconography of the
   nation's most visible faith community."
   
   "It's not just about the flag," Eckstrom said. "It's not just about the
   windows or the inscriptions. It's ... the message that all of it sends
   together. ... It's about what kind of history we're going to tell."
   
   "There's a difference between observing history and celebrating it,"
   Eckstrom added. "And the dean does not feel this is a part of our
   history that's worth celebrating."
   
   According to the dean's statement, a group will meet to discuss the
   future of the Jackson and Lee windows. For now, the Cathedral will put
   up a display next to the windows to explain their historical context.
   
   The dean also plans to address the windows in his sermon Sunday."
   
Well I have news for you, The Dean of Washington National Cathedral
will be removed instead.

I was born and raised a Catholic. I never knew why Protestants would be
the assumed enemy. When a priest of the African Methodist Episcopal
Church which i would describe as the black protestant church, gets
assassinated people should be interested why Dylan Roof drove all the
way upto this particular Church and waited more than half a day inside
that Church. The research from Fritz Springmeier and Juri Lina shows
evidence  that the Protestant (Black in this case) Church is controlled
in secret by Freemasonry. In turn The Jewish Order of B'nai B'rith is
the top-ranking order within Freemasonry as of 13 October 1843.  So yes

The first copy of the original 13th amendment was rediscovered in my home town library in Maine by a guy named David Dodge.  But back in the day we didn't have internet, so that and subsequent copies found in the constitutions of thirty other states were photocopied and passed around.  I have seen them all twenty years ago.

All the evidence points to it having been ratified and installed in the laws of the several states, until the outbreak of hostilities began the "Civil War" and the entire law was made to disappear from history.
