Trump erupts as Cruz sweeps Colorado without votes
'Biggest story in politics. This will not be allowed!'

  "

   Donald Trump

Republican presidential front-runner Donald Trump erupted on "Fox &
Friends" Monday morning after a weekend that saw Sen. Ted Cruz of Texas
sweep all of Colorado's 34 delegates without any votes being cast by
citizens in a traditional primary process.

"I've gotten millions ... of more votes than [Sen. Ted] Cruz, and I've
gotten hundreds of delegates more, and we keep fighting, fighting,
fighting, and then you have a Colorado where they just get all of these
delegates, and it's not [even] a system," Trump said, during the Fox
News broadcast. "There was no voting. I didn't go out there to make a
speech or anything. There's no voting."

His comments came after Cruz won the remaining 13 delegates at the
weekend's convention, bringing his total for the state to 34, an
outcome he described as unfair and just shy of illegal.

RELATED: Michael Savage to Cruz: Renounce Colorado result

"They offer them trips — they offer them all sorts of things, and
you're allowed to do that," Trump said, of the method by which some woo
delegates. "I mean, you're allowed to offer trips, and you can buy all
these votes. What kind of a system is this? Now, I'm an outsider, and I
came into the system and I'm winning the votes by millions of votes.
But the system is rigged. It's crooked."

Watch video of Trump's appearance on "Fox and Friends" here:

   ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2NkKj6ZVCZE shorter ed.)

The televised remarks followed  a weekend of tweets expressing
   similarly critical views.

"How is it possible that the people of the great State of Colorado
never got to vote in the Republican Primary? Great anger – totally
unfair!" wrote Trump, in one Twitter post.

What do YOU think? Should Trump run 3rd party if he doesn't win GOP
nomination? Sound off in today's WND Poll!

He followed it up with a second tweet: "The people of Colorado had
their vote taken away from them by the phony politicians. Biggest story
in politics. This will not be allowed!"
   https://twitter.com/realDonaldTrump/status/719326834538778625
It was last August when officials with the Republican Party in Colorado
decided they would not let voters take part in the early nomination
   process.

The Denver Post reported Aug. 25: "The GOP executive committee has
voted to cancel the traditional presidential preference poll after the
national party changed its rules to require a state's delegates to
support the candidate that wins the caucus vote."

"It takes Colorado completely off the map" in the primary season, Ryan
Call, a former state GOP chairman, told the paper.

The 'Stop Hillary' campaign is on fire! Join the surging response to
this theme: 'Clinton for prosecution, not president'

In late February, just before Super Tuesday, the Post published a
scathing editorial, saying the party blundered on the 2016 presidential
   caucus:

"GOP leaders have never provided a satisfactory reason for forgoing a
presidential preference poll, although party chairman Steve House
suggested on radio at one point that too many Republicans would
otherwise flock to their local caucus.

"Imagine that: party officials fearing that an interesting race might
propel thousands of additional citizens to participate. But of course
that might dilute the influence of elites and insiders. You can see why
   that could upset the faint-hearted."

One self-avowed Trump supporter took to YouTube on Sunday to express
his displeasure with the process and burned his Republican registration
   on camera. Watch the video:

"Republican Party, take note. I think you're gonna see a whole lot more
of these," he said as he ignited his registration.

"I've been a Republican all my life, but I will never be a Republican
   again."

And to the GOP, the man said, "You've had it. You're done. You're
toast. Because I quit the party. I'm voting for Trump, and to hell with
   the Republican Party."

Time to play the Trump card! Get your Donald Trump bumper stickers
(even magnetic ones) right here, right now!

The popular Drudge Report news site splashed a headline in red Sunday
evening that stated, "Cruz celebrates voterless victory."

The delegate selection process in Colorado is complicated.

The Cortez Journal reported: "Cruz had 17 bound delegates ahead of the
Republican state convention. Another four delegates are unpledged but
publicly expressed support for the candidate, who hopes to curb
momentum seen by front-runner Donald Trump.

"Cruz declared victory in Colorado, pointing out that he won all 21
delegates from the state's seven congressional assemblies. Another 13
delegates were awarded at the state convention on Saturday. An
additional three delegates in Colorado's 37-member national delegation
   are unpledged party leaders."

Americans are too stupid to figure this out. why? Because I've known for a LONGGGGG time and have been screaming it from the mountain tops. And yet, we still have the sycophantic ass-kissers falling in line with the false two party paradigm simply because an ultra-rich asshole who would never have anything whatsoever to do with us poor schmucks, has whispered sweet nothings in our ear.

It happens every election.

Undocumented immigrants rally against Trump
Donald Trump is favored to win the GOP nomination for US president. A cornerstone of his campaign is a pledge to "build a wall" on the Mexican border and deport undocumented immigrants. His rhetoric has become a lightning rod for political dissent.

Clash in Anaheim over anti-Trump motion leaves girls hurt amid pepper spray, Taser, harsh words
By Anh Do and Matt Hamilton  Contact Reporters , APRIL 27, 2016, 6:25 AM
http://www.latimes.com/local/lanow/la-me-ln-trump-backers-criticism-clash-fire-pepper-stray-outside-anaheim-city-hall-20160426-story.html

"A divided Anaheim City Council voted late Tuesday to take no action on
a resolution to formally denounce Donald J. Trump, capping a heated
nearly four-hour debate that followed clashes outside City Hall between
supporters and opponents of the Republican presidential candidate.

Before the meeting began, the conflict turned violent as demonstrators
on either side hurled obscenities at each other and fired pepper spray,
witnesses said. An ambulance arrived to provide care for at least two
young girls and a woman who were stung by pepper spray. Television news
video of the clash appeared to show a pro-Trump demonstrator lunging
with a Taser at an opponent.

The rancor could prove to be an opening skirmish as the Republican
presidential campaign moves to California ahead of the June 7 primary.
Several polls show Trump leading his rivals in the state. But the
billionaire has also faced criticism and protests by activists in
California over his inflammatory comments about people who are in the
   U.S. illegally.

The billionaire is scheduled to hold a rally in Costa Mesa on Thursday
night at the Pacific Ampitheatre at the Orange County Fair & Event
Center, according to Trump's campaign website. The rally is set for 7
   p.m., with doors opening at 4 p.m.

The unruly debate in Anaheim continued inside the council chamber,
where dozens of members of the public offered their views before the
city leaders discussed the resolution that would have condemned the GOP
front-runner's "divisive rhetoric." The council voted 3-2 to take no
   action on the resolution.

Trump supporters and opponents clashed while several people were hit
with pepper spray. Tom Wait reports.

Anaheim, the largest city in Orange County, is not the first in the
country to consider denouncing Trump. Mayors from cities including
Philadelphia and St. Petersburg, Fla., have condemned the billionaire
developer, and former West Hollywood Mayor Lindsey Horvath has said
Trump is not welcome in the city.

   ------------

   FOR THE RECORD

April 27, 8:57 a.m.: An earlier version of this story referred to West
Hollywood City Councilwoman Lindsey Horvath as the city's mayor.
Horvath recently completed a rotating, one-year term as mayor.

   ------------

But the proposal showed just how much Anaheim — once a bastion of
conservatism in famously right-leaning Orange County — has drifted left
as its population has become more diverse, making it an unlikely
battleground in a polarizing national election.

"The rhetoric and the language he's using truly go against the grain of
the city of Anaheim's core values as a city of kindness ... and as a
city that's inclusive of our diverse community," said Councilwoman Kris
Murray, who proposed the motion during the last council meeting. The
resolution, she said, was her bid to stand up for "tens of thousands of
Anaheim residents who have been the target of Mr. Trump's campaign
   trail attacks."

The resolution noted that Latinos make up a majority of Anaheim's
residents and that the city is home to one of the nation's largest
Muslim populations. Trump has drawn fierce criticism by claiming Mexico
was sending rapists over the border. Later, he called for "a total and
complete shutdown of Muslims" entering the U.S.

Outside City Hall before the meeting, witnesses said pro- and
anti-Trump demonstrators carried signs and yelled at each other.

Linda Reedy, a Laguna Niguel resident and member of We the People
Rising, a group of Trump supporters, said anti-Trump protesters
"goaded" her and her friends. When an unidentified man attacked a
friend, Reedy said, she tried to pull the stranger off and pepper spray
   stung her eyes.

"I just think they're so out of control," Reedy said of Trump's
opponents, later pulling out a wet cloth to wipe her eyes. "I'm so sick
of the anger in this country," she said.

Anaheim Police Sgt. Daron Wyatt said that no arrests were made after
the clash and that police believe the pepper spray was used by
anti-Trump demonstrators. Two witnesses said people on both sides used
   pepper spray.

Once the meeting got underway, more than 55 people signed up to speak
during the public comment portion, among them dozens of Trump defenders
who viewed the council's proposed action as beyond the scope of its
   authority.

"Your business is to govern Anaheim," said Treva Wishart, a teacher's
aide and 30-year resident of the city. "Keep your noses out of the
   national election."

Raul Rodriguez Jr., the state coordinator of the pro-Trump group
America First Latinos, also blasted the resolution and called his
chosen candidate a "humanitarian," adding: "He cares about this great
   country of ours."

Mayor Tom Tait pounded his gavel again and again to try to control the
increasingly angry crowd, which shrieked approval when one commenter
announced that Trump had won all five states voting in Tuesday's
   primary.

But Ibrahem Dalati, a high school senior, said he felt compelled to
tell Murray how much he appreciated her proposal as a Muslim American,
telling the crowd that Trump supporters "are full of hate."

"If Trump has to use hate to gain votes, we cannot support him," Dalati
said. "A great America is where someone can walk outside and smile at
everyone and be able to help one another despite race or religion."

Tait, the Republican mayor, told The Times before the meeting that he
would abstain from voting and said he questions the resolution's
   legality.

"We've taken positions on legislation, but never on a candidate," Tait
said. "Certainly, privately, any council member or I could, but as an
official government action — it's not appropriate."

However, Murray said the city attorney reviewed the resolution and "it
is fully authorized by state law." The motion does not cost the city
   any money, she added.

As the meeting neared 10 p.m., the council considered a proposal by
Murray to excise Trump's name from the language in the resolution,
making it a broad condemnation of inflammatory presidential candidates.

Murray said that omitting Trump's name would "accommodate" different
sides of the issue and focus on the objective: that the city "will not
   condone any attacks."

Tait opposed voting on the amendment and said it should go on a future
meeting agenda, allowing people to weigh in on it.

"Taking out Donald Trump's name makes it an entirely different
   resolution," Tait said.

No date has been set for the council to take up the alternative version
   of the resolution.

Cal State Fullerton psychology student Keith Carlson, a Trump critic,
said he expected a fierce debate and chaos surrounding such a lightning
   rod of a candidate.

"They both want to be right. What ends up happening is both sides want
to speak, but no one wants to listen," he said. "That's the problem
   with this campaign."

For Reedy, who was hit by pepper spray outside City Hall, opposing the
council resolution was a matter of free speech.

"I don't think it's right for a government body to denounce a citizen
just because they don't like what he says," Reedy said. "It's chilling.
   It's anti-American."

Trump is schedule to speak at the California Republican convention
   later this week.

Jewish media king (sorry for the redundancy) loves Trump, because he's a shekel-spinner.

Leslie Moonves on Donald Trump: "It May Not Be Good for America, but It's Damn Good for CBS"
http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/news/leslie-moonves-donald-trump-may-871464

"Most of the ads are not about issues. They're sort of like the debates," the CBS CEO said.

Leslie Moonves can appreciate a Donald Trump candidacy.

Not that the CBS executive chairman and CEO might vote for the Republican presidential frontrunner, but he likes the ad money Trump and his competitors are bringing to the network.

"It may not be good for America, but it's damn good for CBS," he said of the presidential race.

Moonves called the campaign for president a "circus" full of "bomb throwing," and he hopes it continues.

"Most of the ads are not about issues. They're sort of like the debates," he said.

"Man, who would have expected the ride we're all having right now? ... The money's rolling in and this is fun," he said.

"I've never seen anything like this, and this going to be a very good year for us. Sorry. It's a terrible thing to say. But, bring it on, Donald. Keep going," said Moonves.

"Donald's place in this election is a good thing," he said Monday at the Morgan Stanley Technology, Media & Telecom Conference in San Francisco.

"There's a lot of money in the marketplace," the exec said of political advertising so far this presidential season.

Beyond politics, Moonves said ad sales in general are strong because there's not a lot of places beyond The Big Bang Theory where advertisers can reach 20 million people all at once.

He also said cord-shaving and cord-cutting isn't having the negative impact on CBS that the phenomenon is having on lesser networks.

"You cannot live without CBS," Moonves said, ticking off NFL coverage, Stephen Colbert and 60 Minutes.

The CEO said CBS will be in bundles of just 15 channels, and it will get more money from the providers of those skinny bundles than it gets from the traditional bundles of 180 or more channels. And, of course, CBS All Access for $5.99 a month can capture consumers who shun cable and satellite TV entirely.

"We're going to be in every home, we're going to be on every device," said Moonves.

He said he'd like to see live NFL games on CBS All Access as soon as this year.

Moonves also suggested CBS could sell some radio assets if the right offer presented itself, given radio is a slow-growth industry.

China  speaks about Trump

Unpredictable Trump could swing either way on China

The GOP presidential front-runner Donald Trump won a sweeping victory in the Indiana Republican primary on Tuesday, dealing a heavy blow to his rival Ted Cruz, who dropped out of the race later that night. Trump cleared his way to the Republican nomination for the 2016 US presidential election. Chairman of the Republican National Committee Reince Priebus declared Trump to be the party's "presumptive" presidential nominee and called for unity against Hillary Clinton.

Trump's breakthrough in the Republican primaries has caused a sensation in US politics, public discourse and the international community. At the beginning of the race, most analysts and observers believed that Trump was no more than a clown. A few months ago, few people believed that the endgame would be between Trump and Clinton.

Although many analysts still insist the odds are in favor of Clinton, they are somewhat uncertain about the final result. Trump's performance in the primaries has proven them wrong. Why can't the unstoppable candidate prove them wrong again?

If Trump really captures the White House, what will it mean? This scenario is becoming increasingly serious.

The US traditional political elite and media have long ignored the drastic changes in US society. Rising against the repression of the GOP establishment and the mockery of US mainstream media, Trump will substantially shake the conventional US' way of operation. Acquiring more authority from US society, he will be expected to bring in more reforms, that might change many established policies.

According to Trump's current policy proposals, a Trump-led US might be inclined to isolationism and attach more importance to "America First," and American economy. Ideology will be downplayed. Washington might engage in more squabbles with its free-riding allies, and tighten up its immigration policy which as a result will upset the Latin Americans. After enjoying massive trade surplus from the US for years, China and Japan will be demanded by Washington to widen market access.

If Clinton is elected, the US politics will be more predictable and revolve around the previous orbit. Although Washington is expected to be tougher on Beijing, its policies are controllable. While Trump represents pragmatism, Clinton prioritizes ideology in political affairs. To China, this distinction is more important. Clinton sees the Sino-US relationship from a traditional perspective, and Trump from a much newer viewpoint. The latter will bring changes to the Sino-US relationship.

However, a single individual is unable to dictate the Sino-US relationship and the US domestic issues. If elected, Trump will be restricted by interior and exterior realities. As a result, he will be subject to "transformation." In fact, the "transformation" is an interaction between Trump and the US. He will be more prudent if taking office in the White House. In fact, compared with the past, Trump has become more attentive to his words.

If elected as the president, Trump's ability to take action and make change will not be as great as suggested by his unrestrained performances. He has already "created history" today. Even if he is defeated by Clinton, Trump has deeply impressed the US politics.

The US election pattern is basically finalized: Trump versus Clinton. It will be a super political show, attracting unprecedented attention and closely bound up to the world interests. While Trump is a practical business tycoon subverting US political correctness, Clinton is a former secretary of state and former first lady, representative of US political correctness and the mainstream thoughts.

Improving strength is the most reliable way to respond to the US uncertainties. We believe that no matter whether Trump or Clinton prevails, they will see a "China with strength" from different perspectives.

Trump Names Former Goldman Partner, Soros Money Manager As Finance Chairman

After acknowledging he will now raise money for the general election, presumptive Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump has named a national finance chairman who has a history with some organizations that could clash with his conservative populist message.

On Thursday, Trump named Steven Mnuchin, the chairman and CEO of private investment firm Dune Capital Management LP, to lead his fundraising.

Mnuchin, according to his Bloomberg profile, was a partner at Goldman Sachs, where he worked for 17 years. He also worked at Soros Fund Management LLC, founded by liberal mega-donor George Soros.

During the primary, Trump criticized rival Ted Cruz because the Texas senator's wife worked for Goldman Sachs. "I know the guys at Goldman Sachs. They have total, total control over him. Just like they have total control over Hillary Clinton," Trump said in February.

Soros is part of a group of wealthy liberals who are reportedly spending $15 million to mobilize Hispanics and immigrants against Trump.

Trump often boasted during the primary of largely self-funding his campaign, not accepting contributions from big donors. In a news release, Trump's campaign said he "has self-funded his successful primary battle and will likewise be putting up substantial money toward the general election," but will start raising money from donors.

Speaking of Mnuchin, Trump said: "Steven is a professional at the highest level with an extensive and very successful financial background. He brings unprecedented experience and expertise to a fundraising operation that will benefit the Republican Party and ultimately defeat Hillary Clinton."
Mnuchin, the campaign said, "has previously worked with Mr. Trump in a business capacity and brings his expertise in finance to what will be an extremely successful fundraising operation for the Republican Party, "

"It's a great privilege to be working with Mr. Trump to create a world class finance organization to support the campaign in the General Election," Mnuchin said in a statement.
