Key facts about rising Arizona health insurance premiums
By BOB CHRISTIE  - Associated Press - Friday, October 28, 2016
http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2016/oct/28/key-facts-about-rising-arizona-health-insurance-pr/

"PHOENIX (AP) - Arizonans who paid some of the lowest individual
insurance premiums in the nation when policies were first available
under President Barack Obama's health care overhaul law in 2014 are
   about to be walloped.

Premiums are going up by a 116 percent on average in the state come
Jan. 1 for people who buy plans on the federal marketplace. Many people
will see much higher increases, especially in rural Arizona. Yuma and
La Paz counties are experiencing the biggest increases in the country.

The good news: About 75 percent of the people enrolled in plans this
year get subsidies to help pay their premiums, and those subsidies will
go up along with premiums. The bad news: The other 25 percent - those
who make too much to qualify for subsidies because they earn more than
400 percent of the federal poverty level - are on the hook for the
   entire amount.

Here's a look at key facts and issues driving the increases:

   ARIZONA SEES BIGGEST INCREASES

An analysis of price increases across the U.S. by The Associated Press
and health care consulting firm Avalere showed La Paz and Yuma counties
will see the steepest increases in the nation. Premiums for a
50-year-old non-smoker buying a benchmark "silver" plan will go up by
   about 180 percent, from $377
to $1,055 per month. Even in Maricopa County, the increases are steep:
The same plan will rise by 145 percent, from $289 to $708 per month. If
fact, the top seven percentage-increasing counties are in Arizona: La
Paz, Yuma, Gila, Maricopa, Pinal, Pima and Santa Cruz.

   LIMITED CHOICES

Choices for health care plans are mainly evaporating. Only one county,
Pima, will have more than one insurer, and one of those is only
offering catastrophic coverage not suitable for many people. Blue Cross
Blue Shield Arizona provides that coverage, plus comprehensive plans in
all other counties except Maricopa. Health Net is the other insurer in
the state, selling plans in Maricopa and Pima County. That shrinking
number of choices is a startling change from the current landscape.
Maricopa County, for instance, had 11 insurers in 2015 and eight this
year. Insurers such as UnitedHealthCare and Humana pulled out because
   of big losses.

   NEW DOCTORS

The pullout of insurers means more than half the people who currently
have policies will need to change insurers at the beginning of the
year, with just Blue Cross and Health Net remaining. Letters informing
clients of HealthChoice, UnitedHealthcare, Cigna, Humana, Aetna and
Phoenix Health Plan that they're discontinuing coverage are now being
mailed. Most clients will be automatically enrolled in a remaining
plan, but the new insurance may not have the same pharmacy benefits or
   preferred doctors and hospitals.

   REASONS FOR THE INCREASES

Experts who watch the insurance market point to several reasons for the
increases and high prices. Younger people aren't signing up in
sufficient numbers, meaning most of the people in the plans are
unhealthier patients who cost the insurers more money.

"With each subsequent year, the architects of the law hoped that
healthier individuals would join the market and that that risk pool
would continue to improve year over year," said Caroline Pearson,
senior vice president of Avalere. "But as enrollment has fallen short
of projections and growth has really stagnated, we've been left with
only that high-need population who's enrolled, and that's driving up
   medical costs."

The problem has contributed to big increases and prompted insurers to
leave the market "because they simply haven't been able to cover their
medical costs based on where their premiums were set," Pearson said.

In addition, a pair of government backstops for insurer losses that
were in place for the first three years of the law are ending, so
companies are raising prices to build a cushion for unexpected costs.

Raw Story and other homosexual media outlets are absolutely freaking out right now. Raw Story is being trolled pretty hard right now for this rape story, which is probably made up. I'd go join in but I've been banned for posting that video of that Scottish guy reading all those 6 million stories from newspapers before WW2.

Reminder: Donald Trump due in court after Election Day on child rape and racketeering charges

QuoteDonald Trump would like voters to focus on the FBI's continuing investigation of Hillary Clinton's email server — but instead questions about his own legal troubles have been raised again.

Author Salman Rushdie reminded voters that Trump will stand trial later this month in a racketeering lawsuit and then again next month as part of a lawsuit filed by a woman who claims the Republican presidential nominee raped her when she was 13 years old.

"He is a sexual predator, hasn't released his tax returns, and has used his foundation's money to pay his legal fees," Rushdie posted Sunday on his Facebook page. "He has abused the family of a war hero and ... oh, but let's talk about some emails Hillary didn't send from someone else's computer, that weren't a crime anyway, because that's how to choose a president. Come on, America. Focus."

Sir David Attenborough: 'Shoot' Donald Trump and Leave Politics to the Experts
by LIAM DEACON | 1 Nov 2016 | 1,685
http://www.breitbart.com/london/2016/11/01/sir-david-attenborough-shoot-donald-trump-let-experts-decide-brexit/

"Sir David Attenborough, the veteran broadcaster and climate change
alarmist, has attacked the involvement of voters in politics beyond
elections, suggesting the only way to stop Donald Trump is to "shoot
him" and that complex political questions like Brexit should be blocked
   by "wiser" politicians.

Condemning Mr. Trump's climate-scepticism, Sir David asked: "Do we
[foreigners] have any control or influence over the American election?
Of course we don't. We could shoot him... it's not a bad idea."

Whilst the Radio Times journalist conducting the interview suggested it
was a joke met with "giggles", such violent rhetoric from this liberal
establishment figure and cultural icon may bbe seen as hypocritical.

Furthermore, Sir David went on to explain that he was deadly serious
about his desire to block popular, elected individuals and decisions
   via undemocratic means.

"There's confusion, isn't there, between populism and parliamentary
democracy," he told the Radio Times, one of Britain's widest-read and
oldest magazines. "I mean, that's why we're in the mess we are with
   Brexit, is it not?"

"Do we really want to live by this kind of referendum?" he asked of the
   European Union (EU) plebiscite.

"What we mean by parliamentary democracy is surely that we find someone
we respect who we think is probably wiser than we are, who is prepared
to take the responsibility of pondering difficult things and then trust
him – or her – to vote on our behalf," Sir David continued.

He said he was concerned by Michael Gove's EU referendum claims that
the British people have had enough of experts. "That's why politicians
getting up and saying, 'We've had enough of experts' is so
   catastrophic," he added.

Linking the Brexit vote and the rise of Trump, Sir David was not
"scared to call it xenophobia" driven by a "primordial fear", it was
   reported.

He then described, with sympathy and understanding, the popular fear of
mass migration and rapid cultural changed driven by globalisation,
before dismissing such worries as just "what it is".

"It's very easy, as we all know, to be very tolerant of minorities
until they become majorities and you find yourself a minority. It's
easy to say... 'Oh yes, these lovely people – I love the way they wear
   such interesting costumes [he giggles].

"That's fine until some day you find that they're actually telling you
what to do and that they've actually taken over the town council and
what you thought was your home isn't."

Donald Trump may not be the only person Sir David believes would be
better off dead. As a patron of the Population Matters, the veteran
climate change alarmist is a subscriber to an organisation which in
2011 stated their goal of reducing the global population to a
"sustainable" 5.1 billion. The present population is presently an
   estimated 7.4 billion.

Speaking in support of the aims of the group in 2012, the television
personality said: "I can't think of a single problem that wouldn't be
easier to solve if there were less people".

I read this article from CNN this morning and it seems like there is a huge propaganda war to get the black vote for Hillary. It's way too long to post it all here, but it shows how rappers loved Trump before they were against him. Michael Rivero has said that Trump only became a racist when he decided to run against Democrats.

How hip-hop turned on Trump and settled for Clinton in 2016

QuoteWhen it comes to the hip-hop vote in 2016, Newton's law of energy seems to apply: A campaign at rest will remain at rest unless acted on by an unbalanced force.

The unbalanced force in this case is Donald Trump, whose name for years was invoked to signify wealth and power in hip-hop lyrics, but who is now driving artists who had supported Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders back toward Hillary Clinton.

Enthusiasm for Sanders during the Democratic primary drove energy away from Clinton, often putting her on the defense over issues like criminal justice reform, her ties to Wall Street and her position as a longstanding leader in the Democratic establishment.

Rappers like Lil B, who backed Clinton as early as 2014 in an anthem dedicated to former President Bill Clinton, jumped ship to rally behind the Vermont Senator, who consistently won the majority of young voters throughout the primary.

QuoteBut now a very public, impassioned and often bitter rejection of Donald Trump from the hip-hop community, has been driving energy back to Clinton.

"I will be voting for Hillary yes!!! If not bernie then her," Lil B texted CNN earlier this month. "Even tho I am republican cuz im a businessman but my views and heart are democratic and for the people."

That's not a universal opinion in the hip-hop community. Diddy, who led the "Vote or Die" campaign in 2004, criticized Clinton in September and said that until she directly engages with the black community, people need to "hold" their votes.

But Charlamagne Tha God, who co-hosts one of the most popular hip-hop radio shows in America, told CNN that with Trump as the GOP nominee, people "can't afford" not to vote for for the Democrat.

Hip-hop's attitude toward both Trump and Clinton has undergone an incredible evolution this year; Trump has gone from being an object of respect to a pariah in rap lyrics. Clinton, who has been much less of a presence -- a peripheral character -- has become a subject of songs in her own right.

QuoteAn in-depth review of thousands of hip-hop lyrics found 318 mentions of Trump between 1989 and 2016 and 101 mentions of Hillary Clinton or the Clintons as a couple, from 1993 thru 2016. The latter figure excludes the prolific references to Bill Clinton alone or references to Monica Lewinsky.

Those numbers take into account an uptick in mentions over the past year. There were a total of 83 songs by 70 different artists that came out between 2015-2016 mentioning Trump and the vast majority of the lyrics condemn the Republican nominee and his politics.

QuoteThe first mentions of Trump begin in 1989 when the rising celebrity billionaire had already become a household name. Trump Tower in New York City and Trump's casinos in Atlantic City were powerful symbols of the Trump empire and were frequented by many rappers.

Rapper and singer Lizzo cautioned that artists like to rap about money and "Trump" is an easy word to rhyme with, so a Trump mention is not necessarily a sign of respect for the man, himself, but respect for what he has.

Nevertheless, mentions of the billionaire businessman have been overwhelmingly positive until he declared his bid for the presidency in June 2015.

In DJ Jazzy Jeff and the Fresh Prince's 1989 song "Numero Uno," Will Smith raps, "Cause you're gambling just like craps at Trump," and in the duo's 1989 song, "I Think I Can Beat Mike Tyson," Smith raps, "Me and Mike, two months, Trump, Atlantic City."

In the 1994 song, "211," Master P raps, "Put more cash in my pockets than Donald Trump."

At the time, Trump was making appearances on shows like "The Fresh Prince of Bel Air" and was hanging out with hip-hop moguls like Diddy and Russell Simmons.

room on the 14th floor of Trump Tower and received rousing cheers from
his staff. While virtually the entire media Establishment was
predicting Hillary Clinton was on track to win the election, Trump's
team remained "nervous but optimistic," in the words of one adviser,
that their man would pull off a historic victory. According to the
adviser, Florida governor Rick Scott had assured Team Trump that the
campaign would "squeak it out" in the Sunshine State. "This election is
about winning one state," Rudy Giuliani told me. "If you win Florida,
the rest will fall into place."

And it did. Shortly before 11 p.m., the Associated Press called Florida
for Trump and the trajectory of the race fundamentally tilted in
Trump's direction. "Humility to Euphoria," Trump campaign manager
Kellyanne Conway texted me shortly after the state fell to Trump. "Our
plan was to protect our core four: Iowa, Florida, North Carolina, and
Ohio," she later said. "When we protected the core four and saw the
numbers in Wisconsin, we thought we could win."

Despite Trumpworld's confidence in the numbers, the candidate himself
was anxious. Trump watched the returns from his Trump Tower penthouse.
"He was humble to the very end," Conway recalled. "He kept saying, 'We
didn't get it done yet.' Even when the New York Times had us projected
at a 50 percent chance of winning, and then 70 percent, and then 90
percent, he said, 'It's not done yet.'"

Shortly after 2 a.m., Trump's advisers heard that Clinton campaign
chairman John Podesta was headed to the Javits Center to address
devastated Clinton supporters. "We thought that was odd," Conway said.
"So we said let's go to a holding room" — at the Hilton — "and we can
hunker down and watch the returns from there."

Trump's advisers arrived at the Hilton and waited for Fox News to call
the election. Around 2:30 a.m., Conway's cell phone rang. It was Huma
Abedin calling on behalf of her boss, Hillary Clinton. She was ready to
concede. "Hi, Kellyanne, it's Huma. Is Mr. Trump available?" Abedin
said, according to Conway. Conway passed the phone. Conway recalled
Trump's end of the conversation: "He said, 'You're a smart, tough lady
and you ran a great campaign. Thank you for calling. I respect you."
Conway said they spoke for about a minute.

Fox News called the election for Trump a few minutes later. Howls of
"Fuck, man! ... We the president, bro!" erupted from a throng of
   broad-shouldered 20-somethings standing near me.

Trump's speech was notable for its un-Trump-ian magnanimity (also for
his conspicuously not thanking Jared Kushner during his praising of the
staff). Conway told me the speech reflected Trump's desire to reach
out. "We're going to rely on President Obama and Secretary Clinton as
we transition and form a government," she said.

Despite Trump's effort at outreach, an air of vengeance was palpable
last night. There were, of course, the chants of "Lock her up!" from
the crowd. Megyn Kelly got booed several times when she appeared on
screens around the room. One senior Trump aide emailed me: "I told you:
   revolt."

Giuliani seemed to take particular delight in Clinton's loss. "Maybe
the Clinton chapter is over now," he told me. "They brought enough
scandal and disgrace to America and enough disgrace to the presidency ...
what else would they like to do?" When I asked Giuliani if he would
prosecute Hillary as attorney general in a Trump administration, he
said, "No comment on what I'm going to do in the future, and I'd never
comment on a case." Alabama senator Jeff Sessions, one of Trump's
earliest backers, said the only opposition to Trump is among elites:
"Where's there's hostility is in the mainstream media, big business,
and among George Soros and his globalist crowd — those people are
   getting hammered."

For her part, Conway seemed to take pleasure in the collective failure
of the American polling profession, of which she is a member. "At least
one pollster in America was right," she said.  "

Trump's adoration of Israel trumps duty, necessity, loyalty or obedience, his family are creating a new Jewish dynasty, taking shabbos goy to whole new level of obsequiousness.

Hiring Spikes After Donald Trump's Election
by BEN KEW | 30 Nov 2016 | 362
http://www.breitbart.com/big-government/2016/11/30/hiring-spikes-after-donald-trumps-election/

"Companies across the U.S significantly increased hiring levels in the
month of November following Donald Trump's election, a new report from
   the payroll processor ADP revealed.

During November, approximately 216,000 people were hired, particularly
in the retail sector, in the biggest recruitment drive since June of
   this year.

"Businesses hired aggressively in November and there is little evidence
that the uncertainty surrounding the presidential election dampened
hiring," said Mark Zandi, chief economist of Moody's Analytics, the
organisation that analyses the ADP's figures.

"In addition, because of the tightening labor market, retailers may be
accelerating seasonal hiring to secure an adequate workforce to meet
holiday demand, although total expected seasonal hiring may be no
higher than last year's," he continued.

In October, during the run up to the presidential election, recruitment
figures were below expectations, with 119,000 new jobs introduced,
   despite a forecast of 147,000.

The recruitment drive was particularly prominent amongst large and
medium sized businesses, which supplied 90,000 and 89,000 of the new
   recruits respectively.

The numbers have significantly exceeded original expectations, with
economists polled by the Wall Street Journal predicting 170,000 new
jobs in the month of November.
