Active Shooter At Umpqua Community College In Oregon: At Least 10 Dead, 20 Injured

Moments ago, following a lull in reports of US mass killings, the newswires lit up with reports of the latest "active shooter" incident this time on the campus of Umpqua Community College in Oregon, where according to unconfirmed media reports, 15 people were killed and at least 20 injured in what is still a development situation.

The Oregonian reports:

    A shooter has been reported at Umpqua Community College, according to the Douglas County Fire District's Twitter account. It's unclear how many wounded or if the shooting is still ongoing at the Roseburg campus.  Sgt. Dwes Hutson, a Douglas County Sheriff's Office spokesman, says officers responded around 10:40 a.m. to reports of a shooting at the College. Huston could not confirm if anyone was injured.

The LA Times adds that the injured include a woman who was shot in the chest, said Chris Boice, a Douglas County commissioner. The shooting began within the last 30 minutes at Umpqua Community College.

The good news: the shooter is "down and in custody," Boice said.

As many as 13 people were killed and 20 injured Thursday when a lone, 20-year-old gunman opened fire in a classroom at a community college in southern Oregon, according to Oregon Attorney General Ellen Rosenbaum.

Douglas County Sheriff John Hanlin said the gunman was shot and killed during an exchange of gunfire with officers.

"The shooter is deceased," Hanlin said. Oregon State Police said in a statement there was only one shooter.

"It is a peaceful community," Hanlin said. "Certainly this is a huge shock to the entire community to have this level of crime, an incident occur in our community."

One student, Kortney Moore, 18, told News Review-Today that she was in her writing class in Snyder Hall when a single shot came through a window.

Moore said she saw her teacher get shot in the head, apparently after the gunman came into the classroom. At that point, Moore told the newspaper, the shooter ordered everyone to get on the ground. The shooter then asked people to stand up and state their religion and then started firing, Moore said..

Interesting that you bring that up about Tavistock going from Ireland to St. Petersburg.  I was just thinking about St. Petersburg for a few reasons relating to Tavistock and the fact that this kid looks like a far-right nob:

1.)  The ultra-rightist Knights of Malta were forced by Napoleon to flee Malta in 1798, and were taken under the protection of the Tsar of Russia, who located them in St. Petersburg.  This is a Templar derived secret order heavily engaged in military intelligence work and mind control.

2.). Putin, who looks like a Templar/SMOM mind control product himself, is a native of St. Petersburg.

3.). This spring, St. Petersburg hosted the far-right pan-European -- actually National Bolshevik -- conference under Putin.  This looks quite a bit like the Templar/SMOM political machinations.

The U.S. Army National Guardsman who helped thwart a terrorist attack on a Paris-bound train in August says he would have been in a classroom at Oregon's Umpqua Community College when a gunman opened fire Thursday had it not been for the hero's welcome he received after the train attack.

Army Spc. Alek Skarlatos, 22, and his two friends, Airman 1st Class Spencer Stone and Anthony Sadler, were awarded medals from the United States and France and met in the Oval Office with President Obama after they helped stop a man armed with an automatic rifle and a box cutter who had started firing on a Paris-bound train.

Skarlatos, assigned to an infantry unit in Roseburg, Oregon, was also chosen to compete on this season's "Dancing With the Stars." It was while in a rehearsal for "Dancing" Thursday that Skarlatos learned a gunman had opened fire at Roseburg's Umpqua Community College, the same school where Skarlatos was enrolled to take classes this semester.

"I was enrolled in the Reserve Academy on Saturday and Tuesday and Thursday classes and if I didn't get called for the 'Dancing' show I would have been on campus," Skarlatos said today on "Good Morning America" in a live interview from Roseburg.
