This is gonna be a huge mess now. Kurds are a huge part of Turkey and Turkey's been oppressing them for decades. They are also the only peoples in ME without a country. If Kurds get Russian cover, they'll be unstoppable.




Syrian Kurds are ready to start cooperation with Russia to combat terrorism in the country, Salih Muslim Muhammad, the leader of the Kurdish Democratic Union Party (PYD), said.

"Until now we haven't had the opportunity to establish cooperation with Russia. But we would be happy if such opportunity appears. Russia hasn't yet approached our region as it is active in the West. I think in the future we'll be able to establish a dialogue on military cooperation with the Russian side," he told Sputnik.

What's your take on all this Syria mess... vis-a-vis Russia-Syria-Iran alliance... and now possibly Kurds as well? Qasem Soleimani has been pictured with Kurds several times and it seems that Kurds do what Iran tells them to do. So how will all this develop over the next few months?

Turks are gonna be fucked anyway you cut it seems.... because when you mess with the bear, bear tends to maim you.

Hey, buddy!  :)

To tell the truth, at this point, I do not know what to think! It is good that Russia is kicking ISIS-ass and by extension Turkey, but Assad has been a real asshole to Kurds (denies them citizenship and services such as going to hospitals!).

I think Assad will have a change of heart on Kurds. LOL

Also, it seems that Turks are massing on the border:



Not sure what to make of that. I doubt they'd be stupid enough to enter into Syria but anything's possible. All that Turkish armor (tanks/APCs) can be easily taken down with ATGMs that Ruskies can provide to SAA/Kurds.
