The FBI.gov website reveals the government knew Hitler was alive and well, and living in the Andes Mountains long after World War II had ended.

The world has been told for the last 70 years that on April 30 1945, Adolf Hitler committed suicide in his underground bunker. His body was discovered and identified by the Soviets before being taken back to Russia. Is it possible that the Soviets lied all this time, and that history was rewritten?

With the release of these FBI documents, it certainly seems that the most notorious leader in history escaped Germany and lived a peaceful life in the foothills of the Andes Mountains in South America.

I watched this show on History called "Hunting Hitler" and was hosted by Bob Baer. It's fascinating. Grab the torrent and give it a watch. After watching it, I think Hitler could have escaped.

An FBI cold case that has laid dormant for 70 years, leads a group of world-renown investigators on the ultimate manhunt to finally answer the question: Did Adolf Hitler survive World War II?

In early 2014, the FBI declassified hundreds of confidential documents showing Hitler may not have committed suicide, but rather escaped to South America after the fall of Germany. A memo from J. Edgar Hoover himself states, "American Army officials in Germany have not located Hitler's body nor is there any reliable source that will say definitely that Hitler is dead."

Armed with the most cutting edge technology and these newly released FBI files, the team will approach this case like a modern death claims investigation. Whether they are investigating a mysterious Nazi lair deep in the Argentinian jungle or diving for evidence of a missing U-Boat that could of shuttled Hitler to South America, our team will focus on the tried and tested tenants for solving a fraudulent death case: follow the money, where was the subject last seen, eyewitness reports, make contact with known associates, and forensics.

With declassified worldwide intelligence providing a wealth of new clues and modern technology never before available, we reopen this world famous cold case in hopes of solving the mystery surrounding the demise of one of the biggest criminals of all time.

There's lots of interesting reports to study in the pdf, including a very detailed 12-page report, dated June 5, 1947, in the middle of the pdf.

The pdf is the FBI's file containing these reports, as well as FBI's bureaucratic memo's related to the handling of these reports.

Couldn't find any document from a US government official confirming Adolf and Eva were in South America, but this doesn't prove they weren't.

Let's hope they were, and had a better fate than suicide and cremation in Berlin.

No remains that belonged to Hitler were found in that German bunker. A piece of skull that some Russians believed was Hitler's was analyzed not so long ago and it was not his (it belonged to some woman).

What's also interesting is that when Stalin met Churchill and Roosevelt at Yalta Conference, he told them in confidence that Soviets found no remains of Hitler and that he could have escaped.

That show I mentioned above, mentioned it and showed even more evidence that he probably escaped.

Who knows.... until there's some hard evidence that he died in that bunker, he could have escaped to Latin America for all we know.
