Shit-for-brains shabbos goy Donnie-boy says that colleges must fight "anti-semitism" - whatever that is, which is anything a jew says it is  <:^0  - so, unless a college does everything to make the college perfect for the jew, the college doesn't get any money; thus, the jews own the colleges that Americans pay for.

Trump to define Judaism as a race or nationality in executive order for college campuses

President Trump will sign an executive order Wednesday authorizing the Education Department to withhold federal funding from colleges and universities that fail to combat anti-Semitism on campus, The New York Times and The Washington Post report. Since the relevant federal law, Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, doesn't mention religion, the Trump administration is effectively defining Judaism as a race or nationality — both protected under Title VI, along with "color."

"There's been a lot of unclarity surrounding the application of Title VI to Jewishness, basically, because of a question of about whether Jewishness is primarily a religion — in which case Title VI would not apply to anti-Semitic discrimination — or whether it's a race or national origin," a senior administration official told the Post.

The Anti-Defamation League's Jonathan Greenblatt told the Times there's "empirical" evidence that anti-Semitism is on the rise in the U.S., and "we see Jewish students on college campuses and Jewish people all over being marginalized," adding that "of course" he hopes Trump's executive order "will be enforced in a fair manner." But there are concerns the rule, which defines anti-Semitism broadly, could be abused to quash free speech on campuses and penalize legitimate criticism of Israeli policy, specifically regarding its growing occupation of Palestinian territory, and especially given Trump's record.

"It is particularly outrageous and absurd for President Trump to pretend to care about anti-Semitism during the same week in which he once again publicly spouted anti-Semitic tropes about Jews and money," J Street's Jeremy Ben-Ami said in a stamens. Emily Mayer with IfNotNow argued that "the order's move to define Judaism as a 'nationality' promotes the classically bigoted idea that American Jews are not American." White nationalists are among those who champion this vampiric "dual loyalties" slur against Jews.

Previous legislative efforts to include anti-Semitism in Title VI have had bipartisan support but come up short in Congress. Peter Weber

Trump To Sign Executive Order That 'Effectively Declares' Jews & Judaism Protected Racial Groups
https://christiansfortruth.com/trump-to-sign-executive-order-that-effectively-declares-jews-judaism-protected-racial-groups/

Jewish groups on Tuesday welcomed news of US President Donald Trump's expected Executive Order which will allegedly protect Jews on college campuses from 'antisemitism' associated with the criticism of the policies of the Israeli government:

Quotehttp://www.israelnationalnews.com/News/News.aspx/273005
"President Trump is moving to combat Anti-Semitism in a situation where it is sorely needed. Jews are indeed a nationality, and Jewish students have faced increasingly-obvious bias on campus," said Rabbi Pesach Lerner, President of the Coalition for Jewish Values.

"The fact that it has been thinly disguised as 'anti-Israel' activity is no excuse for bigotry, and adopting the definition of Anti-Semitism used by the State Department is the correct response. The President deserves our thanks for doing what is right and just," he added.

The Simon Wiesenthal Center, a leading Jewish Human Rights NGO, welcomed the move as well.

"It will have an immediate impact on US campuses plagued with anti-Semitic and extreme anti-Israel acts, where many University officials complained that the lack of a working definition of anti-Semitism hampered efforts to deal with anti-Semitic incidents on campus. Now, through this Executive Order, necessitated by Congress' failure to pass legislation, University officials and Jewish students will be better equipped to deal with hate attacks often associated with the anti-Israel BDS campaigns," Rabbi Abraham Cooper, SWC Associate Dean and Director of Global Social Action, said in a statement released in Washington, DC.

"More broadly, President Trump's Executive Order sends a strong message domestically and around the world against history's oldest hate at a time of surging anti-Semitism on both sides of the Atlantic," Cooper added.

Rabbi Cooper had testified at the House Judiciary Committee in support of a bill designed to provide University officials with a working definition on anti-Semitism. The bill sailed through the Senate but did not make it out of committee in the House. The SWC's Director of Government Affairs, Mark Weitzman, was deeply involved in the drafting of the so-called IHRA definition on anti-Semitism that has since been adopted by many European States and which explains when anti-Israel criticism crosses over into anti-Semitism.

Officials said earlier on Tuesday that the order signed by Trump will effectively interpret Judaism as a nationality, not just a religion, to trigger a federal law penalizing colleges and universities deemed to be shirking their responsibility to foster an open climate for minority students.

Basically, jewish snowflakes on college campuses just can't handle the fact that people actually object to the ersatz State of Israel's ongoing ethnic cleansing of the Palestinians, so they want those people shut down, and even jail or execute them if need be.

The new equation is: Jews are a race.  Israel is their racial homeland.  Criticizing Israel is the same as criticizing the entire race of Jews.  Therefore, criticizing Israel is antisemitic, and antisemitism is a hate crime, and the penalty for a 'hate crime' will be prison or death.

Just ask the 60 million dead Russian Christians if you don't believe that is exactly where this is headed.

Jews wouldn't be enacting these draconian laws if they didn't deeply fear that their hypocrisy and violent agenda were going to eventually be exposed.  They can't win the argument on the preponderance of the facts, so their only recourse is totalitarian censorship.

For Jews 'free speech' always leads to 'hate speech' because if you allow people to say whatever they want, for some reason, they always want to criticize Jews and their abuse of power and wealth.  Funny how that always works out that way.

Despite Trump Executive Order, majority still opposes attempts to silence and defund campus critics of Israeli human rights abuses

IRmep Poll: "President Trump issued an executive order allowing him to cut federal funds to colleges and universities where students and/or faculty protest Israeli human rights abuses. Do you support or oppose the executive order?" Source: IRmep representative poll of 2,017 American adults through Google Surveys on December 16-18. Answer order randomly reversed.

STORY HIGHLIGHTS
- 58.8 percent oppose Trump's Executive Order to defund colleges and universities where students or faculty criticize Israeli human rights abuses.
- 74.9 percent opposed legislation in February attempting to compel businesses seeking government contracts to sign pledges not to boycott Israel.
- 60.6 percent opposed legislation in November 2017 barring federal funds to universities allowing protests of Israel by redefining such free speech as "anti-Semitism."

WASHINGTON, DC: The Israeli government and many of Israel's U.S. lobbying organizations strongly support the ongoing annexation of Palestinian lands and expulsion of their native inhabitants. They are irritated by the Palestinian Civil Society Call for the international boycott, divestment and sanctions of Israel until there is a just settlement of the Israel Palestine question. However, rather than work for that solution, Israel and its lobby have been attempting to stifle and defund forums where robust free speech and civil action are taking place in support of Palestinian human rights.

On December 11, 2019 President Trump signed an executive order targeting colleges and universities. Though framed as a measure to "combat anti-Semitism" and credulously reported as such by major media outlets, the order advances a punitive agenda to silence and cow human rights activism and 1st Amendment advocates. The Israel lobby utterly failed to persuade Congress to legislate such measures into law. Lawsuits filed by Kenneth Marcus before he became the Trump administration's Assistant Secretary for Civil Rights were also mostly a flop.

In November of 2017 the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC), American Jewish Committee (AJC), Simon Wiesenthal Center and the Anti-Defamation League (ADL) jointly lobbied the House Judiciary Committee for a floor vote on a bill to withhold funding from colleges and universities under Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964. Testimony revealed their target—just like the Trump Executive Order—was robust speech and civic action taking place on college and university campuses. The joint lobbying was a power move, as Rabbi Abraham Cooper of the Simon Wiesenthal Center testified. "You have the wall-to-wall leadership of the American Jewish community here...we need to move the ball forward...we hope you'll send this to the floor of the house for further deliberation." But despite the pressure, the legislation failed under withering criticism.

Professor Barry Trachtenberg, Jewish History Chair at Wake Forest University, who also testified before the committee cast a harsh light on the drivers behind the legislation. "It is increasingly common to hear reports that a new anti-Semitism threatens to endanger students on a scale not seen since the Second World War and the Holocaust...however, they are motivated less by an actual threat faced by American or world Jewry, than they are part of a persistent campaign to thwart debates, scholarly research, and political action that is critical of the state of Israel." Many other experts also revealed how the legislation was clearly unconstitutional. Nearly 61 percent of Americans polled opposed the law.

A similarly draconian bill targeting American businesses seeking government contracts also floundered, with 74.9 percent of Americans opposed. Under the Trump administration, executive action is supplanting congressional legislation.

On November 18 the U.S. Secretary of State reversed a 1978 State Department legal opinion stating that Israeli settlements were "inconsistent with international law." Americans don't share that view.  This most recent announcement is yet another Israel lobby-powered Trump administration attempt to end-run overwhelming American consensus, the courts and the will of congress to mount attacks on conscientious critics, rather than taking on the more difficult work toward just solutions to the Israel Palestine question.

The Trump administration is investigating UCLA over a pro-Palestine event and lecture

The Department of Education is investigating another university over pro-Palestine events. The move comes just one month after President Trump signed an executive order that effectively allows the government to crack down on pro-Palestine campus organizing.

In November 2018, the  National Students for Justice in Palestine conference was held at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). That event prompted a federal complaint from a right-wing, pro-Israel group called the Zachor Legal Institute. That organization has consistently filed legal complaints aimed at stifling the BDS movement. The Office for Civil Rights has reportedly opened the complaint and are launching an investigation.

Apparently, they are also initiating an investigation over an October 2019 complaint from the right-wing group StandWithUs. The complaint was filed in response to a guest lecture by San Francisco State University Professor Rabab Abdulhadi on the subject of Islamophobia. According to the complaint, Abdulhadi's refusal to back Israel made a student cry. UCLA carried out their own investigation after the incident and found there was no wrongdoing.

Last year, the Education Department investigated a pro-Palestine conference organized by the Duke-University of North Carolina Consortium for Middle East Studies after a Republican lawmaker called for action. In September the U.S. Assistant Secretary for Postsecondary Education Robert King published a letter detailing the department's conclusions. The letter threatens to cut the programs federal funding unless it revises its curriculum to "benefit of U.S. national security and economic stability."
