On July 4 we hear BS about the "Land of the Free Home of the Brave."

I find that tiresome.

I started making a mental list of Mass Murders committed by the US - or tolerated, e.g. the USS Liberty.

When you count up all the incidents - My Lai Massacre, Gulf of Tonkin incident, the Highway of Death (Iraq War 1), shoot down of the Iranian airliner (July 3, 1988) - DAMN there's a lot of them.

Gulf of Tonkin incident
August 2, 1964.
Used as the reason for the entire Vietnamese military build-up.
A young Admiral James Stockdale was the senior flyer at Gulf of Tonkin.
In his autobiography, he describes how there was not a single North Vietnamese anything in sight, and that the were ordered to fire on "open water", AKA the ocean.

It's kind of a Grim Task, but I have a feeling that the US has committed Mass Murders (or tolerated them on behalf of Israel) - every single day of the year.

What US military incidents am I forgetting ?  Obviously there's been a lot of them since the US started it's Terror War.
Planet of the SWEJ - It's a Horror Movie.
