Peter Schiff allegedly theatens legal action against youtuber

Hi everyone, I am hell pissed off.

George4title, one of the only decent youtubers who hasnt been suspended or terminated is being threatened with legal action by Peter Schiff, according to this video from G4T: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vq1M_HPO ... annel_page

Schiff recently went to Saudi Arabia for some kind of presentation/conference.

G4T a couple of days ago put up a vid with Schiff in Saudi Arabia, with Schiff on camera outlining a well-paying move for Saudis to buy up all the shares in major gold producers Barrick Gold and Newmont, even at three times the current share price. The next steps of the plan would be to put the gold production straight into the vaults of the Saudis to curb supply and push up gold to $5000 an ounce.

According to the video in the link above, Schiff has sent 4 emails to G4T, with one of them saying the video was recorded by some travelling uni students or something, but who knows if he said simliar things to Saudis or not.

I want to know if Peter Schiff is related to the Schiff banking family and i know Peter Schiff has a weekly radio show with podcasts available on his europac.net website.

It would be great if people could call into his show and protest the shoot the messenger, or scare-the-crap-out-of-the-messenger-with-legal-threats tactics he seems to be applying (according to the emails in the g4t video).

Well to be honest I would side with Schiff on legal action. You know how much it costs to setup a conference?

It was filmed illegally and Schiff's plans (I don't agree with all of it) but he did outline them on Max Keiser's show the oracle. So this is a real intellectual property and its his bread and butter so if somebody filmed it and started spreading it around Youtube it loses its value since the people who paid him will demand their money back since his plan is already out for free.

Peter Schiff's father is a well known tax protester. He was even arrested for it!

Peter Schiff has made some good calls about how bleak the US economy is, no doubt.

He makes good points and comes across well on tv and radio.

He also has a jewish surname, and the same name as none other than Jacob Schiff, but I do not know if there is any relation. Would be great if anyone can find out. He looks jewish.

I also know Peter Schiff seems to get on mainstream jewish-owned media pretty easily and frequently.

But anyway, George4title made good videos and now he is looking at quitting youtube because of all this.

Whatever a "patriot" is, Schiff is still an a-hole if he did in fact send those emails to G4T. What Schiff said is on the video. He should just make a statement, he shouldnt try and shoot down the messenger.

Schiff was invited to the conference so that's a public event so copyright issues only stick to whoever originally taped the video.

Heh. Did you see his infrequent appearances on CNBC in 2006? They basically used him as a punching bag and they mocked and made fun of him. Called him a loon etc. Now, because of his internet fame, they invite him back and he's become a star because of YouTube. His YT videos have millions of hits. So your comment doesn't really imply that he's their man.

As for his background, I have no idea. One thing's for sure: him and his father are against the Fed and have paid a heavy price for doing that.

Read the book the 'Federal Mafia' by his dad. Not very well written, IMHO. If it were me, I'd stick with the Commercial Redemption stuff from people like David Butterfield, Rob Menard, 'Tim' AntiTerrorist :lol:, Winston Shrout, and Sam Kennedy.
