Og, that was an excellent show. Joe Griffin (at least in my opinion) made a really good guest, for the most part. I find you jumped on him a bit quickly about Islamophobia, but then again, you're somewhat justified about it - the criminals want us to believe that the Palestinians and whatnot are terrorists so that they can expand their little Middle-Eastern shithole. The founding of the ADL is always nice, I don't know as much about the ADL as I probably should, and I'm sure many other forum members would agree with me, so it would be nice if you went over it a bit in your next audio. Joe Griffin does have a point, mind you, about Islam. Certainly (as with all religions) there are some very nasty passages in its books. Islam is definitely not the good guy, after all, as no religion is.

But anyway, excellent job as always Ognir, very informative, and definitely worth listening to. TiU is one of the best shows out there (of any genre), and is always a highlight of my week. Keep it up.

LBJ tapes show Israel-America connection

Come on AJ, USS Liberty was LBJ wasn't it?

QuoteBy BETH MARLOWE
Associated Press Writer

JERUSALEM -- Tapes of Lyndon Johnson's Oval Office conversations, released to the public for the first time on Wednesday, reveal that the American president had a personal and often emotional connection to Israel.

In the first public presentation of the tapes Wednesday at Hebrew University in Jerusalem, Professor Robert Johnson said this connection influenced his policy decisions and helped lay the foundation for the special relationship between the two nations.

"I sure as hell want to be careful and not run out on little Israel," Johnson said in a March 1968 conversation with his ambassador to the United Nations, Arthur Goldberg. The recording was released to researchers on April 1.

President Johnson was known by his initials, LBJ. While he was in office from 1963 to 1969, the United States became Israel's chief diplomatic ally and primary arms supplier. He was also the first U.S. president to invite an Israeli premier on a state visit when he brought Prime Minster Levi Eshkol to Washington, D.C. in 1964.

"This is really the foundation of what we think of as U.S.-Israeli strategic partnership," said Johnson, a professor of history at Brooklyn College in New York and this year's Fulbright chair in the humanities at Tel Aviv University. He is not related to Lyndon Johnson.

The tapes document LBJ's growing belief in the importance of Israel throughout his administration.

Relations solidified when the United States offered to support Israel against its Arab neighbors in the 1967 Mideast war, as long as the Jewish state did not act as an aggressor.

In a taped conversation from June 25, 1967, about three weeks after Israel defeated three Arab armies, Johnson relates a conversation with Soviet Premier Alexey Kosygin.

"He couldn't understand why we'd want to support the Jews - 3 million people - when there are 100 million Arabs," the president said. "I told him that numbers do not determine what was right. We tried to do what was right regardless of the numbers."

Professor Johnson said, "It's one of the starkest expressions of a moral obligation to Israel that came from an American President."

He said the former president, who died in 1973, had a romanticized view of Israel that paralleled his view of his home state of Texas: a frontier nation filled with self-made men, often misunderstood by the outside world.

Later in his administration, as he felt more and more besieged by his adversaries, LBJ's relationship with the Jewish state become more personal.

"They're in about the same shape as I am," LBJ told Arthur Goldberg, his U.N. ambassador in March 1968, when his renomination for the presidency seemed in danger. "And the closer I got ..., the closer I get to them." Johnson dropped out of the race in a surprise announcement in late March that year.

Since LBJ, there have been ups and downs, but in general, U.S.-Israel ties have been strong.

"If you think of the US-Israeli relationship now it's certainly more complex," said Johnson. "But the basic strategic partnership is the same as under (President) Johnson."

Johnson said LBJ's attitude toward Israel is similar to that of another Texan: George W. Bush.

"It's not as if Bush has a grand strategic plan, because he doesn't," Johnson said. "It's personal, it's emotional, it's the kind of context that you see with (President) Johnson."

Johnson was one of six presidents to tape his Oval Office conversations with a specially installed recording system. Franklin Roosevelt, Harry Truman, and Eisenhower taped some of their meetings. Kennedy, Johnson and, famously, Richard Nixon taped nearly all their conversations.

I just finished listening to this.

Og, you're better when you're not on the offensive 95% of the time. He had things to say. Why cut him off?

You're not forming AJ tendencies, are you Og?

I'm making it sound worse than it is. You're not really a bully.

I look forward to OUR interview... about the hidden WASP factor. It ain't ALL Jews.

Don't forget your footnotes. I'll have mine...

I'm sorry, but I will have to disagree with you, alot of us appreciate when he express the rage that we feel. Take this away and what would be the difference between him and everyother Tom, Dick, and Harry Internet Radio host?

That was one hell of a show.

Joe may have been subdued as he called it, but he sounded like a genuinely concerned fellow regarding racist, hateful religions, in general.  I have never spoken to either a Jew or a Muslim in person, probably because I have never come into contact with them, however, I am very aware of both religions' ideologies.  Maybe Joe is overly concerned with Islam.  But, the world hasn't seen a war of conquest from the Muslims in over 800 years.

Og, you brought up a lot of really good points.  I specifically agree with your points on racism and multiculturalism.  I think if every race had their choice that they would probably want to remain with their own because it is human nature.  However, we didn't have a choice and now we have all been thrown into the mix in countries around the world, none so blatantly, as in America.

At some point, we all have to learn to live together and to respect one another, which includes one's own private property including their beliefs and customs.  That is why Ognir's and WW3News' message is so vital to our fight.  As long as we remain divided we will struggle and fail and eventually be conquered.  All people that hunger for freedom and liberty should be joining forces around the world to stop the criminal cabal that will permanently enslave every single person on the planet if they have their way.  And at this point, the criminals are winning.

Joe may be a bit blindsided right now because he is focusing on an issue that may never come to fruition.  The Atheist Talmudists, on the other hand, are way ahead in the game and they are the ones that WE know must be stopped.  One way or the other.

of course they would delete it...

you're blaming the obvious criminal jews and not tolerating the hatred of islam...

much respect for doing that...

This guy would do well to go meet an actual muslim person, he sounds completely out of touch... i guarantee a big chunk of his prejudices would disappear on that factor alone..

Then he would do good to study the early history of Islam and its treatment of "conquered" lands which in many cases were actually liberated... The spread of knowledge... Just look at Spain, under Islamic rule, Spain had lights and running water while Europe was in the Dark Ages coming to Islamic Spain to learn and gain knowledge... For 700 years, christians, jews, and muslims lived in peace and harmony UNDER MUSLIM RULE... think about that.. 700 years! How is that possible if muslims want to kill all others? None of those rulers/leaders ever read the Quran?

The US is like 300 years old... if that... and they've killed over 50 million natives and 100 million africans and now they command respect from muslim countries as a "democracy"

It's ridiculous...  Granted muslim countries aren't the same great models for just societies they used to be but my community is going to change all that .. stay tuned...

How much action are you seeing at Demonoid?

I really liked the show. Civil discourse and respectful discussion. Joe does have a point about the human tendency to see things in black and white so that if one force is "bad" then the other is easily seen as "good," even if that may not be the case. Personally, I see no evidence of a threat from the Islamic world, and plenty that the Islamic world is under grave threats from the Zio-western world, but it always makes sense to take a more nuanced look at the world.

Joe did fine but he has a problem with people he doesn't know, i.e. Muslims, for feck sake, Muslims come in every form, shape, size, color & nationality.

Joe was also out to expose Leo and his bullshit, damn not like I was going to defend that shit bag

We need more radio jocks and people exposing the truth about these criminal Jews

Excellent Interview. Excellent! - Great Joe!

haribol

Very interesting conversation. Good you brought up Islam and described the background of imperialism, immigration and its effect on people.
Very sweeping statements from Joe about who Muslims are.
Divide and conquer really is working on so many levels.
There needs to be educated practicing religious people in this movement who offer a balanced view on their faith away from the Islamaphobic heavy propaganda.
As long as we keep blaming outsiders we will never see the real criminals who are working well above the scenes who plan cities to become segragated and to incite racism for everyone.

Canard
