Synagogue Shooting in Hollywood

I was watching a bit of Fox News this morning and saw a Breaking Story about a shooting at a North Hollywood Synagogue. In bold type written across the screen was that it was a possible Hate Crime. I think it said "possible" but I'm not sure. The entire mood in the delivery basically imparted This is a Hate Crime. Very interesting that this would happen the same day that Hate Crime Legislation passed. Nothing like demonstrating a need for this "important" legislation.

They are now backing off from the Hate Crime angle, and it turns out the shooting took place in a parking garage below the synagogue. Two guys got shot in the leg. You have to read down a ways to find out about their horrific wounds. Reading the article is amazing in that it really goes out of the way to say they don't know if it was a Hate Crime(TM) or not. This early distancing almost makes it sound like they smell some kind of set-up or hoax.
