Have you ever heard of Sidney Korshak? Heh, he's probably the biggest mobster of all time.

QuoteVeteran investigative author and organized crime expert Russo's magnum opus is a compelling look at one of the last century's major power players: Sidney Korshak, a "sphinxlike operator" who, despite pulling the strings of politics and industry, remained invisible to the general public. With great detail (some of it extraneous), Russo traces the amazing course of Korshak's life—from his childhood on Chicago's Jewish West Side to his role as a mouthpiece for the Windy City's Mafia leaders and, eventually, as a major league fixer who brokered labor truces and other deals for politicians and Hollywood moguls (Korshak died, aged 87, in 1996). The list of his clients and associates reads like a who's who of the last 50 years, including Ronald Reagan, MCA president Lew Wasserman, hotelier Conrad Hilton and cosmetics king Max Factor. Russo's extensive research is amply evident, and he has made use of recently disclosed records to paint a fuller picture than predecessors such as Seymout Hersh and Brian Ross were able to. His conclusions about Reagan—such as that he sold out the actor's union—in particular are likely to create controversy, although similar ones were drawn in Dan Moldea's Dark Victory 20 years ago. This worthy addition to the genre is marred only by some sensational claims concerning Reagan that lack adequate documentation. B&w photos. (Sept.)

QuoteTheodore Roosevelt was often quoted as saying "Walk softly, and carry a big stick."

This was an accurate description of Sidney Korshak. Almost anonomous outside of his massive sphere of influence, Korshak bridged the power of the unions, knew and influenced Presidents Truman, Nixon and Reagan, and insured vast sums of wealth for many of the biggest underworld figures of the 20th century.

Along the way, Korshak earned millions and invested huge sums of money in real estate ventures in Las Vegas, and around the World. Born a first generation American in a Jewish section of Chicago, Korshak radiated a quiet toughness that served him through the upper strata of business and down through the lower tiers of gangsters.

This a fascinating look at a complex character whose reach gravitated into the farthest reach of our society, as bad money became legitimate, and amoral gangsters assimilated into the mainstream business fabric of our society.

Russo comprehends this transformation and grasps Korshaks character.

Weird coincidence. I just bought it. I am literally staring at it right now. So far so good. I love ganster/crime bios...
I am on chapter 4, the book doesn't obfuscate at all. Gus Russo pretty much states that Jews ran the criminal underworld. I don't expect him to get into the Talmud or the protocols but he doesn't really need to. I am enjoying it. I recommend it.

Awesome! I just put it on my amazon list and will pick it up after I get back from vacation. If you get a chance, post some interesting facts you come across.

This Sidney guy is scary... and not even a single conviction!

QuoteSidney Korshak died on January 20, 1996, without ever having a criminal conviction against him (or even an indictment, according to his New York Times obituary).

The Jew Gangsters owned Reagan's ass. Greenspan is tied in with these guys. Korshak, Lew Wasserman, and Alan Greenspan were all connected. Wasserman told Reagan to appoint Greenspan to the Fed.

These are big time gangsters...The Italian Mafia was a joke compared to these guys.

Italian mafia is mob for goyim... similar to a way zionists today use various groups to pin the blame for what they're doing. Zio Hollywood mafia has puffed up Italian mafia in movies and books and media and TV series so that no one ever looks into jewish mafia. Even a ton of Italians fell for it and think their mafia is this big criminal enterprise... when they're only few steps above black and mexican criminal gangs.

Real mafia's in Hollywood, Wall St and Washington stealing TRILLIONS of dollars.

The Video of Dan Moldea was impressive.  What do we know about Moldea?  Seems like a forgotten hero.

Roy Hobs

Nevermind!  Moldea is just another whore.  Quick search will prove that.

Wimpy

""In the first sentence of my book "A Washington Tragedy" Vince Foster committed suicide and he acted alone.""

Sounds like Moldea is a little partisan.............
I will gladly pay you Tuesday for a Hamburger today.

Re: the Moldea video. More evidence that Reagan was no conservative hero and the same Kosher Nostra has been behind the making of multiple presidential puppets.

I have the Supermob book. Guess it's time to take it off the shelf and give it a good read.
