After the Revolution of 1905, the Czar had prudently prepared for further outbreaks by transferring some $400 million in cash to the New York banks, Chase, National City, Guaranty Trust, J.P.Morgan Co., and Hanover Trust. In 1914, these same banks bought the controlling number of shares in the newly organized Federal Reserve Bank of New York, paying for the stock with the Czar\'s sequestered funds. In November 1917,  Red Guards drove a truck to the Imperial Bank and removed the Romanoff gold and jewels. The gold was later shipped directly to Kuhn, Loeb Co. in New York.-- Curse of Canaan

I never heard the record, so I can't judge the music...Some ethnically born Jews are Christians/Catholics, probably more than you think, and some are sincere...Remember that many German & Slavic Jews did assimilate here.

But this is not all Celtic carols, unless he is playing them in a Celtic style.

What Child Is This? (Greensleeves)  English
Carol of the Bells  Ukrainian
Auld Lang Syne (New Year's Song)  Scottish/English
Ave Maria from the Well Tempered Klavier  German
We Wish You a Merry Christmas  English
Silent Night  German/Austrian
Joy to the World  American (?)/Biblical

and so on...

I play many of these carols during Christmas season on solo guitar, and I use some different tunings for my guitar on some arrangements...I don't have them on a CD or available for download at this time...My next record will be an acoustic affair, just guitar and violin and I plan to do 'Carol of the Bells; which is a very interesting song to play...It actually does have some elements that are also used in Celtic music.
