The name Allen is one of those names that could be attached to jewish people.  We have Woody Allen.  Also, in show business, there is Tim Allen and the late Steve Allen, and we know about show business.  And, decades ago, there was a comedy act called Allen and Rossi, and, if memory serves, the Allen partner was distinctly jewish.
