   wide but is targeting over 700 sites currently...

   This is ridiculous! My email won't let me log on because it says my
   email doesn't exist, all email sent to address is returned because it
   says it doesn't exist, yet when I try to retake the account it says the
   address is already taken!! I cannot access email, my password has not
   changed, I cannot log on and yahoo has absolutely no customer support.
    Since when does customer service involve going to a public forum and
   posting your problem in a futile hope a complete stranger can solve it
   for you? That's what Yahoo says to do!

   locked out of my account for 4 days now. have try to use verify code
   which gets approved but then only offers to take me back into another
   yahoo email acct. Other times it says invalid password so go onto sign
   into forgot password (which I didn't forget) then says account name or
   phone number not recognized. won't let me re-link unlinked account.
   it seems to be a server issue, messages bounce back. Technical details
   of permanent failure:
   Google tried to deliver your message, but it was rejected by the server
   for the recipient domain yahoo.com by mta5.am0.yahoodns.net.
   [98.136.216.26].
   The error that the other server returned was:
   554 delivery error: dd This user doesn't have a yahoo.com account
   xxxx@yahoo.com [-5] - mta1002.mail.gq1.yahoo.com

   moving to gmail as soon as I can access my account on the worthless

   just opened my yahoo account yesterday and took hours adding all my
   contacts... only to find out now that I can not access that account and
   there is no customer service available at all. I do understand they may
   be under some sort of cyber attack but to have no customer service is
   not acceptable.
    Will have to rethink yahoo for sure.

   not the other. Finally back up after 8 hours locked out. Wish I had
   known about this site. A friend hooked me up to it. I was lost in the
   negative feedback loop of yahoo help.

   I have not been able to log in all day on my phone I was already logged
   in on lap top so I went to change my password it wouldn't let me I
   tried to log in again from phone and it won't let me. Very frustrating
   for sure I live in MA so idk if anyone else is experiencing this but
   it's no fun. I just saw the outage map it definitely looks like an
   attack of some sort! So weird!

   I just tried at 9:57pm EST and it finally worked for me. Checked all my
   sent messages and there was nothing new that wouldn't be there. I am
   still going to change my password though.

   Just got mine working. After resetting the password a few times through
   the alternate email I decided to enter the cellphone number in the
   profile. After getting the verification code on the cellphone the email
   started to work again with the new password. Clearing the cache,
   history, temp and %temp% had no effect. They got my cell now.

   Is there any statement by Yahoo!...it is frustrating not having
   information of what is going on. Looks a security problem and honestly
   I am thinking of moving out to another email. BTW this started to
   happen yesterday and it was resolved in a couple of minutes..not sure

   Holy Crap! have you all looked at the outage map??? This is an attack!
   Without Doubt. Will definitely change passwords as soon as I get back
   in.....if......I get back in.
    Word to the wise. I will also never have myself logged into FaceBook
   while trying to log in to email accts. Face Book has cookies that can
   open other servers if hacked. Always log off of them, Before going to
   other site logins. Hope that helps someone some day.
   BTW I am in Deep South Texas. Same error message Unable to
   proceed....been down since 7pm CST
   PS- my system was showing hack earlier today....scrolling down pages
   when I wasnt using mouse or key board.....then my notebook switched
   from landscape to portrait layout several times even though I applied
   changes. Had to back door apply changes before they held as I had set
   them. Also has anyone else downloaded or had their system download an
   Microsoft windows 10 UPDATE today? My issues with screen layout and
   page scrolling without me doing it occurred after the UPDATE. Is this a
   coincidence? Or and Incident?
   Clearing all cookies on history (in all browsers) and doing scan of all
   files and folders.
   Yep pretty sure that the login is collecting our passwords. This is not
   a common error message. The way it is worded is to entice you to try
   again.

   I got the same error message. I have to agree with Samantha, with the
   amount of breaches and problems the entire tech dept should be fired
   and replaced. I,m constantly having to change my password due to the
   amount of spam I get in my own e-mail with my e-mail address. VERY
   frustrating since I don't randomly click links or download anything and
   I stopped linking to my phone and it still gets highjacked.
