Federal civil rights probe launched into fatal Charlottesville crash
By Benjamin Brown Published August 13, 2017 Fox News
http://www.foxnews.com/us/2017/08/13/federal-civil-rights-probe-launched-into-fatal-charlottesville-crash.html

  "

3 killed amid violence in Virginia

The federal government has opened a civil rights investigation into the
vehicular rampage that killed one woman and injured 19 other people
during Saturday's "Unite the Right" rally in Charlottesville, Va.

U.S. Attorney General Jeff Sessions issued a statement Saturday night
   to announce the probe.

"The Richmond FBI Field Office, the Civil Rights Division, and the U.S.
Attorney's Office for the Western District of Virginia have opened a
civil rights investigation into the circumstances of the deadly
vehicular incident that occurred earlier Saturday morning," Sessions
said in the statement. "The FBI will collect all available facts and
evidence, and as this is an ongoing investigation we are not able to
   comment further at this time."

U.S. Attorney General Jeff Sessions has announced a federal civil
rights investigation into Saturday's fatal crash in Charlottesville,
Va. Sessions is seen speaking in Washington, March 6, 2017.
   (Associated Press)

James Alex Fields Jr., 20, of Ohio, has been arrested in connection
with the fatal crash, authorities said. The rally was organized by
right-wing blogger Jason Kessler, who wanted to protest
Charlottesville's decision to remove a statue of Confederate Gen.
Robert E. Lee from Emancipation Park. The event quickly turned chaotic,
as white nationalists clashed with counter-protesters and police.

   Sessions condemned the violence.

"When such actions arise from racial bigotry and hatred, they betray
our core values and cannot be tolerated," the attorney general said.

"I have talked with FBI Director Chris Wray, FBI agents on the scene,
and law enforcement officials for the state of Virginia. The FBI has
been supporting state and local authorities throughout the day,"
Sessions said. "U.S. Attorney Rick Mountcastle has commenced a federal
investigation and will have the full support of the Department of
   Justice. Justice will prevail."

Earlier Saturday, U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, had called upon the
Justice Department to launch a probe.

"Having watched the horrifying video of the car deliberately crashing
into a crowd of protesters, I urge the Department of Justice to
immediately investigate and prosecute this grotesque act of domestic
terrorism," Cruz said in a statement.
   https://twitter.com/tedcruz/status/896547922388668418
According to Virginia State Police, three other people were arrested in
connection with the rally. They were identified as Troy Dunigan, 21, of
Chattanooga, Tenn., charged with disorderly conduct; Jacob L. Smith,
21, of Louisa, Va., charged with assault and battery; and James M.
O'Brien, 44, of Gainesville, Fla., charged with carrying a concealed
   handgun.
   https://twitter.com/VSPPIO/status/896399823703814145
Sessions' statement drew mixed reactions on social media. Some praised
the decision to make the case a civil rights investigation, while
others saw the case as terrorism and murder, with race a nonfactor.
   https://twitter.com/HaroldItz/status/896575651460911104
Meanwhile, the nation's leading civil rights organizations issued a
number of statements in reaction to Saturday's events.

The NAACP called for President Trump to fire his adviser Steve Bannon,
describing Bannon as a "well-known white supremacist leader."
   https://twitter.com/NAACP/status/896497824451395585
The National Urban League added: "We call on everyone with a voice on
our national stage to condemn these demonstrations & racist sentiments
   in the strongest possible terms."
   https://twitter.com/NatUrbanLeague/status/896523092565962752
The National Action Network said it "calls on President Trump to
address the causes of these events, denounce the white supremacists at
the very heart of this conflict, and start working towards peace."
   https://twitter.com/TheRevAl/status/896452520205316096
Protesters took to the streets of California cities such as Los Angeles
and Oakland on Saturday night to decry what transpired in
   Charlottesville earlier in the day.
   https://twitter.com/RobTVLA/status/896581619007365120
The Oakland protesters briefly blocked a portion of Interstate 580, the
   East Bay Times reported
.

The Associated Press contributed to this report. "

"James Alex Fields Jr., 20, of Ohio, has been arrested in connection
with the fatal crash, authorities said. "

On Breitbart :
"The suspect driver, 20-year old James Alex Fields of Ohio, is in
custody, having been arrested "moments" after the crash. He is
suspected of involvement with one of the white nationalist groups
participating in the Unite the Right rally."

This smells like a very nasty false flag to me. In the Video where the
grey dodge charger hit on the cars not a single white nationalist was
present. This was a gathering of anti protestors protesting the White
Nationalists. That the suspect driver had come all the way from Ohio to
smash up his car in CharlottesVile seems totally irate and insane.
Although he does have the MKUltra name tags all over : James Alex
Fields (three names) . I'd say Sessions, follow the money. Who in his
right mind drives in a expensive Dodge Charger from Ohio to
CharlottesVille to ruin his car and get thrown in jail with murder-one
on his name tags? All in the name of supporting White Nationalists ?
I don't buy it.

MELEE BREAKS OUT AT CHARLOTTESVILLE CITY COUNCIL MEETING

It was the Council's first meeting since the Aug. 11 and 12 rallies...

The meeting started out without incident, but soon several residents
began shouting down city officials for allowing the Aug. 12 "Unite the
Right" rally to take place. When police officers forcibly removed three
people from the chambers, the 100 or so people at the meeting broke out
into furious chants, screaming "Shame" and "Shut it down!" The three
people were issued summonses charging them with disorderly conduct. No
   injuries were reported.

Chaos Breaks Out at Charlottesville City Council Meeting
By FRANCES ROBLES  AUG. 21, 2017
https://www.nytimes.com/2017/08/21/us/charlottesville-council-melee.html

"CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. — They shouted down the mayor and City Council
members, took over the Council chambers for about a half-hour, and gave
more than four hours of impassioned testimony about how city officials
had botched the response to the deadly white supremacist rally here
   this month.

In the end, the angry residents who spoke at the Charlottesville City
Council meeting on Monday got some measure of action as officials said
they would have a third-party review the city's planning and reaction
to the rally. The Council also voted unanimously to take the first
administrative steps to remove a statue of the Confederate general
   Stonewall Jackson in the city.

That move was significant, as it was the Council's decision earlier
this year to remove a statue of Robert E. Lee that prompted the white
nationalists to rally in the city earlier this month.

Monday's meeting was the Council's first since the rallies on Aug. 11
and 12 that brought hundreds of white supremacists to Charlottesville.
White and black residents alike were furious with the police response
to the demonstrations, and they faulted officers for not engaging
during repeated scuffles. A woman, Heather D. Heyer, was killed when a
   man drove into counterprotesters.

The meeting started out without incident, but as soon as the rally was
mentioned, several residents began shouting down city officials for
allowing the Aug. 12 "Unite the Right" rally to take place. The chamber
erupted, and when police officers forcibly removed three people, the
100 or so at the meeting broke out into furious chants of "Shame" and
"Shut it down!" The three people were issued summonses charging them
with disorderly conduct. No injuries were reported.
   https://twitter.com/FrancesRobles/status/899781111584313344
"I'm outraged!" said Tracy Saxon, 41. "I watched my people get beat and
murdered. They let Nazis in here have freedom of speech, and they
protect them? And we can't have freedom of speech?"

At one point, two people stood on the dais and unfurled a banner with
the words "Blood on your hands!" as council members and the mayor left
the room. The residents refused to cede control of the room until the
authorities promised to release the residents who had been taken away
and let people have their say.

Protesters yelled during the Charlottesville City Council meeting on Monday night, the first since a white nationalist rally in the city descended into violence. Credit Andrew Shurtleff/The Daily Progress, via Associated Press

Vice Mayor Wes Bellamy, the only African-American on the Council, was
the sole member who remained. He negotiated with residents to restore
order in exchange for scrapping the meeting's regular agenda and giving
each person one minute to speak.

It took about a half-hour for order to be restored, and the meeting
stretched for several hours, as speaker after speaker spoke about their
anguish over what the community had experienced. Several people wept
and said they had been unable to sleep since witnessing violence
   against their neighbors.

"I'm not the same person I was that day," said Paul Hurdle, who shook
as he described the mayhem on Aug. 12.

Gail Weatherall, who said she had lived in Charlottesville for 35
years, called for a citizen-led review of the events and the city's
   response.

Several speakers criticized the Council members for not having heeded
warnings to avoid the protest, and promised to vote them out of office.
But city officials stressed that they had tried to deny the white
supremacist rally a permit, but that a federal court had ruled in favor
   of the protest organizers.

"We tried really hard," Mayor Mike Signer said. "A federal judge forced
us to have that rally downtown."

His account was met with jeers, and the shouting continued.

Mr. Signer took the brunt of the community's ire, as many people
   demanded his resignation.

Responding to residents' concerns, Maurice Jones, the city manager,
said Charlottesville would have a third party review the city's
response to the white supremacists' gathering. He urged residents to
submit specific complaints of serious incidents to the police chief.

Afterward, the City Council voted unanimously to drape the statues of
Robert E. Lee and Stonewall Jackson in black in mourning. "

``I hope that the fair, and, I may say certain prospects of success will not induce us to relax.''

Analyzing Charlottesville's Zapruder Film: the Ford Fischer LiveStream
by SonofNewo , Published on Aug 24, 2017
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ePsK0dpyu4g
"Ford Fischer began LiveStreaming video 7 minutes 40 seconds before the
charlottesville car attack. His video is an absolute bombshell for the
   following reasons:
   1. He films the murder vehicle (a Dodge Challenger) on Water Street 7
     minutes before the attack.
   2. He films the maroon van involved in the incident 5 minutes before
the attack. It is already at the intersection of 4th and Water. Ford's
video shows that it does not move in the intervening 5 minutes, despite
being able to. Nobody appears to be in the front seat.
   3. Ford abandons the protest and the neo-Nazis he claims to be
following and waits on 5th and Main St for 3 minutes before reacting to
the attack. Why is he waiting? He seems to know that something will
     occur nearby.

We need to look at Ford Fischer and his video very closely. Some
   questions to consider:

Did Ford Fischer know about the attack before it happened?
Was Ford Fischer using his livestream to signal vehicle locations to
   people watching it?
Who were the other 'reporters' waiting with Fischer by the green awning?
Why were Police in the parking garage but not at the protest?
