Despite an overall decline in anti-Semitic incidents around the world in 2007, there was a 6.6 percent rise specifically in violent anti-Semitic attacks, including arson and the use of firearms with intent to kill.

This was the finding released yesterday in the annual report of the Tel Aviv University (TAU) Project for the Study of Anti-Semitism. The report registered 632 incidents of violent anti-Semitic attacks, and that the number of severe violent attacks has risen threefold from 19 incidents in 2006 to 57 incidents in 2007.
   
The desecration of Jewish cemeteries, monuments and memorials has been on the rise around the world, the study found. Incidents of desecration rose from 91 in 2006 to 141 in 2007.

The report also notes there has been an overall decline in anti-Semitic events, such as verbal and visual offenses, in key nations such as France, Belgium, Germany, South Africa, the United States and Britain. France saw a decline of 51 percent - from 97 to 47 - of violence driven by anti-Semitism. However, the number of serious violent incidents rose from two to eight.

Australia saw a decline from 49 to 29 violent incidents, but there were five serious cases of anti-Semitic violence as opposed to one the previous year. The overall number of anti-Semitic incidents in Australia and Ukraine rose in 2007.

There was a sharp rise in violence in Germany, Canada and Britain: the number of milder attacks in Germany rose from 38 to 67, and 10 exceptionally violent attacks were recorded, as opposed to none in 2006. The rise was more moderate in Britain and Canada, but the number of extremely violent incidents rose from two to 15 in Britain and from none to five in Canada.

There was an overall 6 percent decline in the U.S. in all types of anti-Semitic events, as well as a decrease in the number of incidents of harassment. However, the U.S. saw a rise in anti-Semitic vandalism relative to the rest of the world.

"This data shows a decline from the highest number of incidents, registered in 2006," Prof. Dina Porat, head of the project, said. "...we attribute the general trend toward decline to the fact that governments and enforcement bodies, particularly in the West, have understood in the past two years the danger of anti-Semitism, and the fact that this is violence that can spill over in other directions."

Scholars at the Tel Aviv University project concede it is possible that a low number of anti-Semitic incidents does not reflect anti-Semitism, since Jews in some countries might not feel comfortable reporting such incidents to the authorities.

Thats the first thing I spotted. I think its meant to have an affect on religious people who will see that and believe that us "anti-semites" are pure evil. And believe it or not, it will have an effect on some of those doofuses.

The 6 million number is in reference to scripture, where God would allow the the chosen people to return to their land only after 6 million were burned-Holocaust -burnt offering. I believe that it was used as a tool by Zionists to get non zionist jews on board with the formation of Israel. 6 million where burned, so now god will give us a homeland.

It is amazing how things make so much more sense when you know where they are coming from.  I just heard today that the Talmud also states that the goyim can not own any property, all property belongs to the chosen ones. for example property tax, you never really own your property, your'e just renting.

I have also noticed pi a lot lately in movies and tv shows. seems like they are always going into room 314 or pi 3.14. Not sure why it is important. I heard someone comment on the number 17 seems to be important. which is 3 +14

we are ruled by words and numbers, and statistics don't mean much, cause there  really is no way of verifying them, but people take them as blind faith.
