Gerald Celente: My first contribution, and it may be a doozy

How many of you are aware that John Anthony West (JAW) of "real Egyptian archaelogical" fame is the guru behind Gerald Celente and the two work hand-in-glove together?  In fact, they both live near each and JAW is the man "who taught me to write" as Geral Celente told me personally.  I KNEW that there was much more to Celente than he let on, and I pieced together a theory some time ago after finding this out, but that is not anything that I can PROVE; however, for those of you who know about JAW, this is very serious regarding Celente and what he REALLY KNOWS about the past--and the future...

1. Okay... so do think JAW is an intelligence agent of some sort?  Looks like the typical cover for one if they live Cairo.

You have completely mis-understood the implication of having JAW as Celente's guru:  the man proved that what we "know" about ancient Egypt and  especially the original "Pyramids" and Sphinx is not at all the reality that we were taught in school; that is why I wanted you to read as much as you could about JAW's work and then reflect on how Celente has been "spot on" continuously about what is happening to us now, all the while admitting that JAW is his inspiration and philosophical advisor and have known each other for 26 years!   :idea:

The statement that if the Exodus is not a true historical event, then "Modern Israel is a lie" is covered.  It doesn't have "Germanic Teutonic Death Cults" but gets close, so heads up. A lot of Edgar Cayce is mentioned - maybe Celente is using "Cayce" type "channeling" to get his predictions (?)   :shock: . Saint-Yves' ideas were taken up by Helena Blavatsky (1831-1891), followed by Alice A. Bailey (1880-1949), and promulgated in any number of "secret societies."  But again, in all of these cases, we have to note that lies will not be swallowed unless they are wrapped in heavy sugar coatings of truth.  And in these cases, there is much of truth and value to be derived that can never happen, of course, when one tosses the baby out with the bathwater.

But P & P do this with gusto.  And because they have a pre-formed opinion about the evil nature of any and all such groups, when they begin to examine other sources that may not be connected to this operation at all, they look for clues of conspiracy that simply are not there, believing that they find it in situations or words that have a completely different meaning when taken in the proper context.  For example, P & P write:

    Significantly, the third member of the trio, James Allen McCarty, who joined L/L Research in 1980, had already worked closely with a group in Oregon who had claimed to channel the same entity as Edgar Cayce. [Source cited: The Ra Material, by Elkins, Rueckert and McCarty, p. 47)

As I understand it, Cayce never channeled any entities.  He claimed to read the "akashic records" which is quite different from channeling an "entity."   But there is more.  What is actually said in the Ra Material cited above by P & P is "In the fall of 1980, he (Jim) traveled from Kentucky to Oregon to work with this group which was supposedly channeling the same source that Edgar Cayce had channeled in deep trance. ...After only two months in Oregon [Jim returned.]

Most of the current "Alternative Egyptology" is based on the works of RSL as discovered and promoted by John Anthony West.  R.A. Schwaller de Lubicz (1887-1961), was an occult philosopher who, in the 1940s and 50s, wrote several books in French about the religion of ancient Egypt.  RSL believed that the Sphinx was attributable to Atlanteans and that it predated the known ancient Egyptian civilization by many thousands of years.  He made the observation that the erosion on the Sphinx's body and the walls of the enclosure appears to be the result of exposure to water, rather than wind-blown sand, and argued that it had been caused by a great flood - the flood that destroyed Atlantis - the mythical Flood of Noah.

There is much evidence that strongly suggests that the more ancient date of the Sphinx must be accepted, as well as the likelihood of an ancient advanced civilization, for example, the work of geologist, Robert Schoch.  However, Picknett and Prince recoil in horror at such an idea, proclaiming that Schoch's work, and his conclusions are still very controversial and the subject of debate.  At this point, Picknett and Prince begin to swallow gnats and strain at camels in their efforts to dislodge this one single issue of the redating of the sphinx and the possibility of an ancient civilization on Earth.

Why?  Because, indeed, they have found evidence of something malicious and sticky moving like a hungry beast, smacking its drooling lips behind the scenes of these presentations.

Picknett and Prince then take great pains to viciously attack Edgar Cayce and other psychic sources because, of course, if he is saying that there were ancient civilizations - some of the same things that those who are promoting this political agenda are saying - then he must be part of the conspiracy, too!

But, in the way of all Damage Control and Disinformation, this is a typical ploy.  If someone has discovered something of truth about the Matrix, the agents are sent in to associate with that person, to try to subvert or co-opt their work, and then to twist it into something that supports a negative agenda.  Then, they deliberately set up a situation where the conspiracy is exposed as negative, and the original speaker of truth, by association, is discredited.

Picknett and Prince are right about the fact that there is a lot of so-called occult, psychic, New Age channeled material that is purely evil - part of this conspiracy to cover up the failures in the old belief systems.  But they are wrong to believe that the system that is in place, the beliefs that have been promulgated on humanity for millennia are the benevolent results of natural human evolution, or a benign and omniscient God who has our best interests at heart.  In fact, Picknett and Prince do not even seem to notice the fact that the present Matrix of beliefs is crumbling, and this is what has necessitated this co-opting and perversion of truth.  If there was no failure of the old system, there would be no need for a new one.  P & P recoil in horror at the Conspiracy they have uncovered, but they do not realize that the old system is exactly the same and that they have fallen for the oldest of Machiavellian tactics: create an enemy by demonizing your opponent, and then step in as a savior to do exactly what you have accused the opponent of planning.  P & P do not seem to be fully cognizant of the subtle nature of disinformation tactics and how cleverly it has been used throughout the millennia to deliver lies wrapped in truth.  As a result of this, again and again they toss out the baby with the bathwater.

P & P go to some considerable trouble to outline the history of the occult Synarchist movement without even coming to the realization that this is precisely the system that is in charge of our world and has been for a very long time.  Essentially, Synarchy advocates government by secret society, a group of "enlightened initiates" who rule from behind the scenes.  It's pretty evident that political history and a broad overview of the forest is not P & P's strong suit.  As Gary Allen put it in None Dare Call It Conspiracy, it doesn't matter which political party gets elected, those who pull the strings of government - all governments - remain unknown to the masses.

P & P tell us that Synarchists identified three key pillars of society that, once under the control of his elite, would allow them to rule without the population even being aware of their existence.  These were the political and social institutions, the economic institutions and the religious institutions.  Surprise, surprise!  P & P need to wake up and smell the coffee!  Those three pillars of society have been under the control of a hidden group for a very, very long time, and there is plenty of evidence to support that fact.  As FDR said, "Nothing in politics happens by accident.  If it happens, you can bet it was planned that way."

Nevertheless, the Synarchy philosophy of Joseph Alexander Saint-Yves d'Alveydre (1824-1909), the culprit identified by P & P, developed in the early 1870s, was formed around certain mystical and occult ideas.  St-Yves believed in the existence of spiritually superior beings that could be contacted telepathically and that the ruling elite ought to be made up of people who were in communication with them.  He himself claimed that he was in touch with these beings, and that they actually gave him the principles of Synarchy.

Now, we are getting to my main point...

What the hell does THIS have to do with a man who seems to be consistently "spot-on" about the real goings-on in the financial/political world?  Keep peeling the onion away and you will see more disturbing and curious questions emerge as to what in the hell could one of the top five (5) alternative archaelogists/Egyptolotists in the world have to offer to a financial advisor in such a way that after 25 years they are still as close as a head is to a neck.  NOW...there is one (1) topic or group that Celente will never, ever discuss and he will cut-off an interview once they are brought-up, even though they control the whole game, especially in finance--Zionists.

JAW deals with REAL information and that was/is his bread and butter.  He helped to prove that what we know about our history and that of ancient Egypt is, again I iterate, not at all what we were taught it was in school.  As far as I am concerned, the only thing that matters to me is something that can be proven and that I can see for myself and able to validate, and that was what JAW has done for many decades, and THAT makes the relationship all the more curious.

He helped to prove that the Sphinx was damaged by water...which could ONLY have happend much, much longer ago than is given by the "mainstream."

He helped to prove how those in power regarding Egyptology have kept vital information from the people and that it is ongoing.

I could go on and on, but my main point is that there is much, much more to Celente and JAW's relationship than meets the eye because I was involved in Egyptological research for many years until I began to focus on things of a more immediate nature--Zionism and how they are destroying humanity for their ultimate goal of becoming "gods" once they throne their King David; this is the most batshit crazy thing in the world, yet it presents the most dangerous point in human history if these people succeed.

By the way, whenever I hear about Egyptology I always go back to this link from Crichton Miller which is one of the best out there in connecting the "Cross" to "Christianity".  Early Christians didn't really use a cross until a pagan Constantine converted. However, many of the Cargo Cults across the Eastern Regions did.
And the Cross was always a sacred symbol in Egypt. Why is that?

You can't build a Pyramid without a "Christian Cross" in Ancient Egypt.  Somehow, in a weird way the Jews hate the cross for this reason. It was a symbol of their submission to a "higher and stronger" power  - Egypt.  I doubt this could be proven in archaeology but the Jewish traditional hatred of the cross likely proceeded the birth and crucifixation of Jesus.  (Jesus was likely killed on a Pole since a  pole causes slow and cruel suffocation and a traditional "T" cross doesn't - and using a pole was the typical Roman way of crucifixation before and after his death).

You're getting warmer to my point as I believe that JAW presented Celente with information that transformed everything that he had ever believed about the world in which we live and took him on the ride of his life in preparation for what JAW suspects is coming in the--NOW--near future.  This is purely speculative on my part, but something does not add-up here with Celente/JAW being as close as they are and for Celente to be able to have hit so many nails for so long; as almost all of you know Celente was right for literally decades but no one had ever referenced him as he has been now...

Christian Zionism actually preceded Modern Jewish Zionism. It's a fact.
 Charles Taze Russell was a Christian Zionist, and a Mason-Pyrimidologist who had several charts regarding the "Charts of the Ages" - some of which people have said he pulled from Masonic sources and recent discoveries in Egypt of that time.  I think some of this thinking is still held in Modern Israel. Netanyahu actually conducted a national ceremony for Charles T. Russell a few years ago.  Charles Taze Russell met with Nathan (?) Rothschild as well to discuss Zionism and Palestine.

He adopted and used Seiss's phrase referring to it as "the Bible in stone". He believed that certain biblical texts, including Isaiah 19:19-20 and others, prophesied a future understanding of the Great Pyramid and adopted the view that the various ascending and descending passages represented the fall of man, the provision of the Mosaic Law, the death of Christ, the exultation of the saints in heaven, etc. Calculations were made using the pattern of an inch per year. Dates such as 1874, 1914, and 1948 were purported to have been found through the study of this monument.[41]

Expanding upon an idea suggested by Nelson Barbour, Russell taught as early as 1879 that God's favor had been restored to Jews as the result of a prophetic "double" which had ended in 1878 (favor from Jacob to Jesus, then disfavor from Jesus until 1878). In 1910, he conducted a meeting at New York's famous Hippodrome Theater, with thousands of Jews attending. Jews and Christians alike were shocked by his teaching that Jews should not convert to Christianity. Early in Russell's ministry, he speculated that the Jews would possibly flock to Palestine and form their own nation by the year 1910. Shortly before his death, he utilized the Jewish press to stress that 1914 prophetically marked the time when Gentile nations no longer had earthly authority with the result that all Jews were, from that time onward, permitted and guided by God to begin their flock to Palestine and boldly reclaim the land for themselves.

In writings as early as 1883 (and through to the end of his life) Russell repeatedly expressed the view that the world would see a significant but gradual change in global climate conditions as a prelude to the re-establishment of Eden-like conditions. "The Cross and Crown may be said to be confined almost exclusively to the historical

logo in that occultic book. The Knights Templar degree is readily found in the York Rite of
Freemasonry as the source outlines. The Masonic crown and cross symbol is found in Mary
Baker Eddy's old literature (like the "Unity of Good") and in Mormonism.
The plaque on the gravestone reads "Watchtower Bible and Tract Society." That was an early
name for the Jehovah Witness. Russell talked a lot about "Millennial Dawn," "The Golden
Age," and the Watchtower which are Masonic and Enochian Magic terminology. Russell
wanted to establish the Golden Age, which is very similar to the concepts of the new world
order.

 In 1872, Charles Taze Russel started the International Bible Students Association.
According to Robert Howard, Russell had a secret Rosicrucian membership with the
Quakertown, PA group of Rosicrucians (as revealed by the pyramid he ordered erected over
his grave site). Russell enjoyed the use of the Winged-Sun-Disk. Charles believed that it was
Biblical. The winged sun disk is from the ancient Egyptian false sun god of Ra. This winged
disk with serpents on it still exists on the New York Assembly Hall in Queens, New York.
What does the winged sun disk mean for the occult? There are many meanings to symbols
as we know. The winged disk isn't just utilized by the Jehovah Witness. The ancient Egyptians, the
ancient Assyrians, Spiritists, and Freemasons encouraged this symbol's usage. Here's some
meanings to it:

"Emblematic of the element of air, this consists of a circle or solar-type disk
enclosed by a pair of wings. In ritual magic it is suspended over the alter in an
easterly direction and used when invoking the protection and co-operation of the

Russell wanted these images to represent the new Golden Age, but the Scriptures are clear that
false god symbols aren't just (or holy) emblems to outline the new Kingdom of Jesus Christ at all.
Also, the Bible is clear that there is no such thing as a Golden Age. Manly P. Hall's "The Secret
Teachings of All Ages" book have a picture of a winged sun disk on page XLIX. Even Helena
Petrovna Blavatsky (once the leader of the Theosophical Society) used the Winged Sun disk.
Blavatsky traveled all throughout the world to promote her occult doctrines (She even sent a 1891
New Years Card to the Dublin Lodge with that winged sun disk logo indeed. Theosophical
Magazines even in March 1989 has the same emblem). Fritz Springmeier have written excellent
research on the Jehovah Witnesses. According to Fritz, the winged sun disk was accepted by
Kabbalists as falsely portraying Jehovah as a sun god. Kabbalists view Jehovah as the Deimurge or
the Creator. Fritz shows ancient Egyptian images of the winged sun disk relating to a text about the
Pharoah Userten II. It's basically related to sun worship. Sun worship is one of the components that
occultists and other Illuminists believe in. Why would Russell do this unless if he accepted a sun
deity. Russell viewed Jesus to be the center of the Sun according to Fritz. Springmeier outlines
conclusive evidence of the ties between the Jehovah Witness, the Freemasons, the Rothschilds,
and the new world order (Hall called the Winged Globe as a solar trinity and it represented the
various false sun gods of the ages). JP Morgan funded Russell's Watchtower Society. CT Russell
claimed to be a Zionist but refused to preach the Gospel upon Jewish people. Russell's form of
Zionism was more political than spiritual. Even the B'nai B'rith financed Russell (Freemason
and B'nai B'rith member Frank Goldman escorted Russell to the Hippodrome where he spoke
for 2 hours). Russell predicting that Jews would return to Palestine was one of his few
predictions he got right. Why did Russell align with Zionists and Jewish people like this? The
reason was that he wanted to see his utopian dream of a man-made Jerusalem capital to be a
reality. Also, much of CT Russell's beliefs of Jewish people like Jewish people not having to
accept Jesus Christ as the Savior, Jewish people being morally plus intellectually superior to
Christians, the bashing Orthodox Christianity, the nations of the world being headed by
Jewish people during the Millennium (although even Jesus is Jewish), etc. was strange. All of
these views (as proven by Russell's own words and Fritz Springmeier's research) might
appeal to many non-believing Jewish people. This doesn't mean Jewish people have no right
to live in Israel though. Jewish people and all people have a right to live in Israel if they want
to. The World Headquarters of the Jehovah Witness is located in the Crown Heights Section
of Brooklyn, New York. It's easy to prove the agenda of the one world religion and one world
government since personages spanning centuries have called for these aims from Walter
Cronkite to Nehru. Joseph F. Rutherford was the new leader of the JWs in the early 20th
century. According to Fritz, Charles Taze Russell had a connection to Masonic Hall. It's
interesting to note that on Presbyterian minister's Andrew Masonic Constitution from 1722-
1723, there is a Phoenix image. This image influenced the original design of the U.S. Great
Seal according to Manly P. Hall. Russell's theology is just a rehash of Arianism (or the view
that Jesus was only a good man and not Almighty God). It's a known fact that Russell in his
June 15, 1895 article praised Freemasonry and Secret Societies.
That is why the Jehovah Witness is Masonic in some of its doctrines. For example, Masons
and Russell (plus the Jehovah Witnesses) use the Masonic term the Great Architect, both
believe that Jesus wasn't necessary God but a good man, and each claim not to be a religion.
Both Freemasons and Charles Taze Russell each require they don't need to renounce their
religious affiliation to join theirs groups. Also, both the Masons and the JWs outline a worksbased
salvation, each group have meetings in a Masonic Hall, and each use Masonic buzz
words and symbols. Russell praises Hiram Abiff when he's not mentioned in the Bible. Hiram
Abiff is mythical figure used in Masonic ritual especially of the Blue Lodges. According to
Claude McClung (an ex-high level Mason) in his book "Why I left Masonry," Hiram Abiff is the
sun god Baal. In some sources, Hiram Abiff does have influences from the sun god myths
and Osiris. Mackey's Lexicon of Freemasonry on pg. 195 said that the Legend of Hiram was
Egyptian and related to to the Isianic Mysteries (of the religion of Isis and Osiris). Russell
teaches that the Bible was written in a code as found in WT December 1879 on pgs. 5-7. The
Bible, on the other hand, is clear that God doesn't outline secrets in His Word. The Bible is
clear cut with its doctrines. Both the Charles Taze Russell (He called the Great Pyramid of
Egypt as of God) and Freemasonry are interested in Egyptology. According to Fritz
Springmeier, Piazzi Smyth (CT Russell's mentor) was the source for Manly P. Hall's esoteric
Great Pyramid information. Also, he was a source for CT Russell and the Edgar Brothers'
knowledge (They were lecturers of the Great Pyramid). For 62 years, 1891 to 1953, the
Watchtower taught that God resided on the star Alcyone in the Pleiades constellation and that from
this star he governed the universe! This belief was taught in 1891 in Volume 3 of Studies in the
Scriptures and was based on distortions of passages in the Bible.

Connecting JAWs back to Masonic Lore and early Pyramidology.  I found this link which is interesting.  I think the belief in the Modern Jewish people as heirs of the Biblical Jews is tied directly to Egyptology, Masonic Lore, the Kabballah and Smyth's Pyramidology of the 1840-1880s. Piazza Smyth's work and Taylor's writings in the 1860s breathed new life into Masonic-Chrisitan Zionism-Jewish Kabballah prophecies.  This ties with Millerism (1840s) and Christian Zionism's advent in the 1870s. Without the Pyramid Research, new beliefs in Miller's Biblical "prophecies" of Ezekiel, Isiah, Daniel, Jeremiah including reinterpretations of Jesus's prophecies in  Matthew, Luke, John and of course John's prophecies in Revelations -- all of these prophecies had to somehow adhere to the old Torah-Masonic-Pyramidology or else it would not have attacted many adherents. Basically, it all held together with the "Pyramids" secrets.    

John Taylor and Smyth writings on the Pyramids as "sacred-God devised structures" sync'ed all of this for these proto-"Zionists" with their Pyramid theories and belief in an earthly Zion....  I think JAWS may be connected with this...just a hunch... --The CSR

Piazzi Smyth, Baden-Powell & Flinders Petrie

    Sir William Matthew Flinders Petrie is known as a pioneer in the field of archaeology and Egyptology. In his autobiography, Seventy Years in Archaeology, he wrote of an interesting connection with the Smyth and Baden-Powell families:

        CHAPTER I.
        PREPARATION

        THE first chance in life is ever being born at all, and a mighty uncertain affair it seems to us mortals.

        My grandfather, Captain Matthew Flinders, who died at forty, left two young friends who kept in touch with his widow and daughter for half a century. One was his cousin, a midshipman on his ship H.M.S. Investigator, John Franklin, of Arctic fame. From his childhood, John was always the heroic gentleman. One evening my great-grandmother, visiting his mother, rose to leave, saying it was getting too late; Johnnie, then four years old, at once said, "Never mind, Mrs. Tyler, I will see you home."

        The other friend was William Henry Smyth, but for whom my father and mother might never have met. He was a man of wide interests, known as a literary sailor, as surveyor, astronomer, and antiquary. His sons were notable for rising to the top of their professions, his daughters for marrying men who, later, were equally successful. Some of their names reflected his tastes; Piazzi, the Astronomer Royal for Scotland, was named from the Sicilian astronomer; Rosetta, the wife of Sir William Flower, had her name from the Rosetta stone. Their house in London in the 'forties was a centre of many interests, and my mother, Anne Flinders, often stayed with them when up in town for meetings.

        Piazzi Smyth had begun his career as an assistant to Sir John Herschel at the Cape, and thence naturally knew my grandfather, Petrie, who was head of a department there. He brought my father and uncles into the Smyth circle on their return to England. Amid the many friends who went to and fro there, it did not escape the eye of Mrs. Smyth that her eldest daughter, Henrietta, and young William Petrie were very intimate. Now she was a very careful mother, and knew her duties. She felt that my father had not that amount of worldly wisdom which she desired for her daughter's success, so Henrietta was promptly taken to Cambridge, and soon after married the sexagenarian Professor Baden-Powell.

        Meanwhile William Petrie and Anne Flinders had been constantly meeting at the Smyths, and some years later my father and mother were married. So Mrs. Smyth was the agent by whom Scouting and Egyptian archaeology took their present form. B.P. and I both speculate whether either, or neither, of those subjects would have been otherwise so shaped?

   He wrote of the role of Piazzi Smyth's work on the Pyramids had in leading to his own interest in Egyptology. As noted below, he was later to disprove scientifically some of Piazzi Smyth's central conclusions about the Pyramids.

        .... A new stir arose when one day I brought back from Smith's bookstall, in 1866, a volume by Piazzi Smyth, Our Inheritance in the Great Pyramid. The views, in conjunction with his old friendship for the author, strongly attracted my father, and for some years I was urged on in what seemed so enticing a field of coincidence. I little thought how, fifteen years later, I should reach the "ugly little fact which killed the beautiful theory"; but it was this interest which led my father to encourage me to go out and do the survey of the Great Pyramid; of that, later on.

        Sir William Matthew Flinders Petrie, Seventy Years in Archaeology (1932)

    In The Genesis of British Archaeology, John David Wortham writes about Piazzi Smyth, his influence on Flinders Petrie and Petrie's ultimate discrediting of Smyth's work on the Great Pyramid. Obviously, with little patience for the religious interpretations of early pyramid researchers, he coins the term "pyramidiot" to describe the development of what he saw as a quasi-religious cult. To some degree, It remains today in the "New Age" term "Pyramidology."

        By 1800, Egyptologists were certain that the Egyptians had used the pyramids as tombs, but during the course of the nineteenth century a multitude of cranks and cultists disputed the idea. Eventually professional Egyptologists would be able simply to ignore the various pyramid cults, but during the nineteenth century, they could not always do so. At least one pyramid cultist, Charles Piazzi Smyth, performed useful work in measuring the Great Pyramid at Giza and thereby made for himself an international reputation as an authority on the structure, origins, and function of the Great Pyramid. A multitude of other pyramidiots attracted considerable attention, scholarly and otherwise. The bizarre speculations concerning the pyramids had a long life, and at least one pyramid cult has succeeded in maintaining itself in the twentieth century."

        The next step in pyramidiotic speculation was taken by John Taylor, a friend of Coleridge and Keats and a minor literary critic. In 186o he published a book on the Great Pyramid under the title The Great Pyramid: Why Was It Built? and Who Built It? In 1864 he published another book in which he replied to his critics: The Battle of the Standards.

        According to Taylor, Holy Scripture contained references to the Great Pyramid in many passages; the architect of the Great Pyramid had not been an Egyptian but Noah, the designer of the Ark. Furthermore, locked in the measurements of the Great Pyramid were secrets of which the ancient Egyptians themselves had remained unaware. Among these secrets was the length of the "sacred cubit," identical to the cubit that the Israelites had used in biblical times. Taylor supplied "evidence" that the English system of measurement had derived from the "divine" system embodied in the Great Pyramid. Because many Englishmen admired Taylor's evident piety-and his opposition to the adoption of the French metrical system-his book enjoyed modest popularity.

      Taylor's chief disciple and the real founder of the Great Pyramid cult was Charles Piazzi Smyth, the astronomer royal of Scotland. Smyth, an inventor known for his improvements in photography, became a convert to pyramidiocy after reading Taylor's books, and in 1864 he published a defense of Taylor's ideas: Our Inheritance in the Great Pyramid.

        In 1865, Smyth, convinced that more precise measurements of the Great Pyramid than those available in published works were necessary, took his own scientific expedition to Giza.

        Smyth was interested only in the Great Pyramid. The other monuments of the plateau he considered evil, pagan, and idolatrous. He spent his days making measurements of the exterior of the pyramid, its inner chambers and passages, and the sarcophagus. Smyth hated the tourists who came to Giza. He found them noisy and bothersome, and they forced him to suspend work for several hours each day. Above all, he felt that they did not show enough respect for the Great Pyramid.

        Despite his strange ideas and misconceptions, Smyth performed much valuable work at Giza. He made the most accurate measurements of the Great Pyramid that any explorer had made up to that time, and he photographed the interior passages, using a magnesium light, for the first time. In 1867 he published the results of his efforts and his own speculations about the Great Pyramid in his magnum opus, Life and Work at the Great Pyramid.

        Smyth's theories about the Great Pyramid exceeded those of John Taylor in grotesquerie. The Great Pyramid, Smyth maintained, was not an Egyptian monument. Rather, it was the oldest man-made structure; the other Egyptian pyramids were only filthy, pagan imitations. Although the Egyptians might have furnished the physical labor necessary to erect the Great Pyramid, the architectural genius who designed it must have been some personage of the Old Testament. The pyramid was a perfect structure, a product of divine inspiration, which embodied in its measurements a perfect system of weights and measures, among them the sacred cubit of the Israelites, the pyramid inch, and a system of prophecy. By use of the correct mathematical formulas, Smyth intended to unlock the secrets of the pyramid, secrets that included information about the past history of man, his future, and the Christian dispensation. He claimed that he had derived a number of astronomical facts, some dates of important events of the past, and a prediction about when the millennium would begin.

        Many scholars published what should have been devastating criticisms of these theories. They showed, for example, that when deriving his formulas Smyth simply juggled facts and figures until he came up with a seeming correspondence and that many of the data upon which he based his theorizing, such as the average size of the casing stones that had once covered the Great Pyramid, were wrong. Contemporary Egyptologists knew that the Great Pyramid was not the earliest of the monuments, but one of the latest. However,pyramidiots were unswayed by facts.

        Theories as bizarre as Smyth's inevitably produced a storm of criticism. What is surprising is the amount of support they received from reputable journals. Smyth responded quickly to all criticism. Shortly after the publication of his Life and Work at the Great Pyramid he produced an answer to its critics: The Antiquity of Intellectual Man. When the Royal Society of Edinburgh refused him permission to read a paper on the Great Pyramid in 1874, he resigned his fellowship in protest and published his reasons for doing so in a pamphlet entitled The Great Pyramid and the Royal Society.

        During this controversy Smyth enlisted support mainly from two groups: the opponents of the introduction of the metric system into England and the antievolutionists. Smyth had stated in his books that the English inch was a close copy of the "pyramid inch," a perfect unit of measurement inspired by God. Hence, according to Smyth's reasoning, Parliament would be committing an irreligious act if it adopted the atheistic French metric system. Furthermore, Smyth continued to insist that the Great Pyramid was the oldest man-made monument in the world and hence that man had always displayed, with the Deity's aid, a high degree of intellectuality. These views were directly contradictory to theories of the evolutionary nature of man's development, a fact that the antievolutionists and Smyth clearly realized."

        While Petrie's new methodology was revolutionizing archaeology, his discoveries in the field were forcing Egyptologists to rewrite much of their reconstruction of ancient history. Among Petrie's discoveries were the city of Tanis, the Greek trading outpost at Naucratis, the location of ancient Daphnae, the pyramid of Amenemhet III, the prehistoric cultures at Qift, and the prehistoric and early dynastic remains at Abydos.

        Petrie was born at Charlton, England, on June 8, 1853. From a very early age he demonstrated an interest in ancient remains. When he was thirteen, he bought a copy of Charles Piazzi Smyth's Our Inheritance in the Great Pyramid and showed it to his father,' who was an engineer. William Petrie saw in Smyth's theories an admirable reconciliation of science and religion, and he wanted to do what he could in support of this reconciliation. He decided that he and his son should go to Giza and use their skills to secure even more precise measurements of the Great Pyramid.

        To train for their work, William and Flinders Petrie practiced surveying Stonehenge, assembled a collection of surveying instruments, and read everything they could find on the antiquities of Egypt. In 1875 they published a book they had written on the measurement of ancient earthworks.

        William Petrie was something of a procrastinator and kept delaying the trip to Egypt. Eventually his son had to go without him. That was probably just as well, for by this time Flinders Petrie had rejected the ideas of Piazzi Smyth.

        Had his father been present at Giza, the probable clash of opinions might have hampered the work.

        Petrie arrived in Egypt in December, 188o, and remained until the end of May, 1881.4 While he was there, he restricted his activity to surveying, relying primarily on triangulation. In October, 1881, Petrie went back to Egypt, and except for a two-month trip up the Nile, remained at Giza until the end of April, 1882. During this second visit to Egypt he did some excavating.

        Petrie's findings at Giza enabled him to disprove two prominent theories about the Pyramids, the accretion theory of Richard Lepsius and the belief of Charles Piazzi Smyth that the Great Pyramid was a product of divine revelation and, therefore, flawless. Petrie destroyed Lepsius' theory by showing exactly how the ancient Egyptians had constructed the Pyramids, and he also found much evidence that indicated the Great Pyramid contained imperfections resulting from poor construction and earthquake damage.

        In examining the King's Chamber in the Great Pyramid, Petrie found that one or more earthquake shocks had broken every roof beam on the south side. Only the inward thrust of the massive walls held the four-hundred-ton granite roof in place. This damage had very likely occurred before the Egyptians had finished the construction, for mortar covered the cracks. Petrie believed that two architects had worked on the Great Pyramid and that the second had possessed much less skill than the first. The second architect had used rough stone and had often forgotten to dress the stone. The plaster applied to such areas failed to hide these imperfections. Petrie also found cracks that the workers had made in cutting the block for the sarcophagus. Charles Piazzi Smyth had noticed none of these defects.

If Celente makes "predictions" but really doesn't address the Zionist-Corruption angle and has relationships with JAWs mystics it doesn't look like he is on the side of throwing the facts on the table in plain view.  He throws everything as a possibility except the Star-of-David.

I'm not going to go into JAW since I know nothing about him or his theories. From a cursory look, I think he's a crank. But I'll look into this maybe later.

We're on page two now so I think it's time to bring up this issue: How good are his predictions anyway? Many of them are "obvious" and to anyone who's well informed could make these predictions (I'm referring to his 2010 predictions). His older predictions cannot be verified since he didn't make them on any TV/radio shows and his newsletters are not public. So his credibility is highly suspect with me.

What made Celente was the Obama Deception movie. He was a "nobody" before AJ put him in that movie and featured him prominently.

"Predicting more terrorism and maybe a 9/11 type attack" - useless prediction. US foreign policy won't change so of course there will be more of the same!

"Pakistanis will attack US from the inside" - We haven't seen any other group perform terror attacks in any organized manner within the US. Pakistanis are hard working people and family oriented and I doubt they'll strap on expl. and go out and cause terror. If there is Pakistani terror it will be a setup.

"Iran blockade will cause WW III" - highly doubtful. We have integrated economies now and a next WW is highly improbable.

"Crash of 2010"  - stimulus money running out... doh! Everyone with a clue is predicating another crash (commercial RE + ARM mortgages).

"Depression Uplift - pursuit of elegance, smaller quantities of food but higher quality" - this whole fashion "trend" is beyond silly. Fashion changes all the time and there's well known cycles. As for better quality of food.. doubtful. We'll have same quality at higher price and smaller quantities.

Clearly, what Celente's doing here in this segment is taking the Great Depression trend and restating it for 2010. But what he's forgetting is that society has changed. Again, on specifics, this trend is weak.

"Survivalism" - well, doh. People are buying arms and ammo and they are getting ready. But he's wrong about this trend being widespread. CLEARLY, the majority of people are not preparing to bug out.

 "Not welcome here" - anti-Immigrant movement. Obvious... no jobs = less immigrants.

"To be or not to big...  things are too "big". Too much consumption. Obese society. Well, no money = less food. "Huge movemnt to shape up America" .... hahaha... laughable. This has been going on for 20 years already! Ridiculous.

"Great innovation" - "Necessity is the mother of invention ~ Plato" - Gov gives money to the "bigs". High-tech going to low-tech. In India fridges for $40. Less money to make more. Another obvious one.

"Buy local movement" - these movements have ALL FAILED! And nothing will change the fact that people want to pay less for same items. This is why Wal-Mart is growing. Celente's dead-wrong when he says that people, who are making less and are out of jobs, will pay more money for local food or products.

"Rise of a 3rd party" - interestingly, he briefly mentioned this one and yet he's been predicating this on all the major TV/radio shows in 2009! It's funny how he dropped it from his "predictions" page (http://www.trendsresearch.com/journal.html). Obviously, there won't be any 3rd party that will rise because the media will crap all over it like they've been doing to all the 3rd parties for over half a century. This was a specific prediction and Celente dropped it because he knows it's bullshit!

"New communication technologies will kill TV" - ...doubtful. TV is indestructible. Newspapers were easy to kill but TV usage is only growing. TVs with Internet... sure... that's what's been promoted at 2009 CES and has also been a big thing on 2010 CES. But guess what... all the big companies already control all this. SO NOTHING WILL CHANGE!

"Demise of NBC/ABC/CBS" - haaha... right! This one is laughable. These are not news organization... they're in entertainment business. They're also buying up all the Internet properties so they will own them too!

Again, these are TRENDS that he's predicting. What's important to notice is that these are NOT specific predictions! He's just restating what has been already going on and he's extrapolating those things into the next year. He's also taken some Great Depression trends and redressing them for 21st century.

All in all, pretty poor! Seriously guys, analyze his "predcitons" and you'll see they're obvious and nothing special and stop lauding him as some kind of an insider or soothsayer or anything like that. He's a bullshitter who's been practicing his craft for decades so he's good at it. He's way overrated.

When someone comes along and says: "On __/__/201_ the event ___________ will take place." and it's not an obvious prediction and they say it few days/months/years in advance, I'll start listening to their predictions. But when someone says that "In 2010 there will be more terror attacks and maybe a 9/11 type attack"... it's total bullshit and anyone with half a brain can figure that one out.
