Bernard Madoff, convicted of swindling $65 billion through the biggest-ever Ponzi scheme, has told fellow prison inmates that he is dying of cancer, the New York Post reported on Monday, citing unnamed prison sources.

Madoff, 71, who since June has been serving a 150-year sentence at a North Carolina federal prison, has been telling fellow inmates he does not have much longer to live, the Post said, citing the unofficial and unusual sources.

The Post said there had been speculation that Madoff was suffering from pancreatic cancer earlier this year. Inmates said Madoff was taking "about 20 pills a day" and "not doing very well."

The Post said Madoff's lawyer did not return messages Sunday and had previously declined to answer questions about whether Madoff had cancer. Reuters could not reach Madoff lawyer Ira Sorkin immediately for comment.

The tabloid also reported Madoff has engaged in a number of surprising new activities with some unexpected social circles.

A shirtless Madoff has joined weekly "Native American religious purification ceremonies" that involve prayers, heated rocks to induce sweat and smoking from a ceremonial pipe, the paper said.

The paper also reported that various "gangs" at the prison are trying to recruit Madoff while some inmates regularly cook "sandwich wraps" for him at their cells.

It is my understanding that the Libyans did not commit the crime.

If that's confirm as true then it has a lot to do with the ZION modus operandi i. e. Rubenstein's killing Oswald and then

QuoteHe successfully appealed his conviction and death sentence. As a date for his new trial was being set,[1] he became ill and died of lung cancer on January 3, 1967

QuoteMadoff Cancer Rumor Refuted by Prison Bureau

Posted Aug 24, 2009 03:52pm EDT by Chris Nichols in   Newsmakers
Reports were circulating Monday that Bernie Madoff, the former money manager who was convicted of a multibillion-dollar financial fraud, is dying in prison from a form of cancer, but subsequent comments from the Bureau of Prisons refuted those claims.

The New York Post published a report quoting unnamed inmates at the Butner, N.C., facility where Madoff is being held as saying, among other things, that he takes "about 20 pills a day" to fight his disease and that he discusses his condition "all the time."

Shortly thereafter, The Wall Street Journal's online edition ran an item on the situation, saying it had confirmed the cancer news with its own sources.

A bit later though, the Journal updated its initial report, saying this time that the BOP indicated the original Post article was "inaccurate." Beyond that, the bureau declined to offer much in the way of detail.

The Journal went back to its source, who said Madoff does have a serious type of cancer, but it wasn't able to determine if he could have a potentially fatal form.

Since then, the story has been advanced further, with both CNBC's Web site and the Journal quoting the BOP as saying Madoff "is not terminally ill, and has not been diagnosed with cancer."

This isn't the first time this speculation has made the rounds. Earlier this year, rumors emerged that the disgraced Ponzi schemer, who was sentenced to a century and a half behind bars, had cancer, possibly in his pancreas.

Elsewhere, the Post, again citing sources, reported on other aspects of Madoff's life behind bars, including saying that since being incarcerated he has taken part in "Native American religious purification ceremonies" and that a number of prison gangs have tried to get him to join their ranks.

Give him a boot to the face.  It might change his lying tune.
After the Revolution of 1905, the Czar had prudently prepared for further outbreaks by transferring some $400 million in cash to the New York banks, Chase, National City, Guaranty Trust, J.P.Morgan Co., and Hanover Trust. In 1914, these same banks bought the controlling number of shares in the newly organized Federal Reserve Bank of New York, paying for the stock with the Czar\'s sequestered funds. In November 1917,  Red Guards drove a truck to the Imperial Bank and removed the Romanoff gold and jewels. The gold was later shipped directly to Kuhn, Loeb Co. in New York.-- Curse of Canaan

It appears he is still testing his 'swindling skils'. Madoff is a professional liar and con man; this just shows how skilled he is at it.
