"Please help us find Annie´s murderer!"

Please sign the E-petition; Investigation of deaths in suspicious circumstances for Annie's suspicious death to be investigated by the new Scottish Police unit

Annie's case is now classified strictly secret, and we are denied access to the investigation in accordance to the Freedom of Information Act, saying documentation can not be reveald since Annie's death is not in the public interest!

The Procurator refuses to tell why and by whom, this decision has been made. Although it is four years since Annie died our family still has not received the answers of what happened to Annie.

Why this mystery – making if Annie's death was "just" an ordinary drowning accident? How can the Police and Crown Office show such coldness to a mother, be that nonchalant about the investigation and refuse to investigate the disappearance of Annie's long hair?

Please help our family of how to get the answers about Annie's death!

Annie hittades påklädd, förutom jackan som låg bredvid henne liksom hennes väska. I väskan fanns bl.a. hennes svenska pass samt två biblioteksböcker som hon skulle lämna tillbaka till Skövde Stadsbibliotek.

No injures and she had her passport on her?

Hon hade också tagit en vaccination

Not good.

Morgonen den 4 december hittades Annie drunknad på stranden i Prestwick helt nära Prestwicks flygplats, c:a 120 kilometer från Edinburgh.

So it was a drowning?

Så sent som i augusti 2007 fick vår familj så veta att man hittat DNA-spår på Annies händer från en okänd person.

If it was a registered criminal, they will eventually match the DNA.

Vi upptäckte då omgående och till vår stora bestörtning att någon hade klippt av hennes midjelånga hår.

So she had to have sat down and allowed someone to cut her hair.

Då jag själv klädde min dotter fick jag nästa chock, på Annies kropp fanns flera stora blåmärken.

But how recent were the bruises?

Detta är mycket anmärkningsvärt eftersom Annies hår mycket väl kan ha haft skador från ett överfall eller viktigt DNA från en förövare.

Ok,  so it could have been the fall, but must have the DNA come from someone who pushed her?

Dokument, lappar med namn, telefonnummer, adresser, foton och annat för en utredning intressant material, har aldrig tagits till vara av polisen.

Did the police ever know that this evidence existed?

Utredningen är dessutom sekretessbelagd och Crown Council vägrar att lämna ut den.
